This ryokan always takes care of us at year-end parties. This time, my friend is going to be transferred to a distant place, so I visited her to have a farewell party. The room is a corner deluxe on the second floor. I requested a Western-style room, but I never expected to have such a room. Flooring that feels like it was carved by a craftsman in the total cypress guest room bath. It is luxurious with a TV on the wall of the living room and a coffee machine. I've stayed there for 2 nights and everything is just amazing. The staff upgraded my room which had a sauna and bath tub. Snacks and drinks were replenished every day. The breakfast was great and the dinner was just amazing. They provided a variety of drinks (wine, sake, juice, tea, coffee, etc.) and it's all you can drink. They also provided free beers and drinks in the lobby resting area and you can watch live sports there at night. The hot spring is great as well. Highly recommend!

It takes more than ten or twenty minutes to take the hotel shuttle bus from JR Kameoka Station, so you need to make an appointment with the hotel in advance. The sweets I received at the last drop-off happened to be manufactured at the local welfare facility workshop when I happened to look back, and I thought it was delicious and the attitude as a company was wonderful.
