Stayed in June and December. It was very comfortable and the service was good. There is a welcome drink on the first floor and you can drink coffee and juice freely. I took it back to my room and drank it slowly. The main dish for dinner was sukiyaki. The baths are on the 1st and 8th floors, and the men's and women's baths are alternated. You can see the Zao mountain range from the hot spring on the 8th floor. If you make a reservation from the hotel's official website, you can stay at the cheapest price and receive a gift certificate that can be used at the shop for 500 yen per person.

I wanted to relax with my family. The facilities make you feel a little building machine, but the staff responded very politely. The bath was a little hot for me, but it was clean and cozy! The meal was a Viking, but the taste and volume were enough! Especially the potato boiled for dinner and the curry for breakfast were delicious! If you say a little difficulty, is it that the wifi was a little weak in the room on the 5 floor, and that there is no net door in the window and it is not possible to vacate for a long time? Still, I think it is a good hotel that is comfortable enough.

From the Saito mokichi Memorial Hall to the ”Open-air Yu Arima Kan” which is today's inn. The lobby is large and clean and has a good atmosphere. There is also a store that can buy Yamagata specialty products. The guests can make a reservation at check-in because they can only use an open-air bath for free once. The atmosphere of the room is similar to the lobby, and there is a feeling of cleanliness without feeling old. This inn has a coffee maker and a capsule dedicated to Nespresso ”vivalt rugo” is a service. This is a pleasure. By the way, the country of this ”Vivalt rumgo” is Switzerland. The sweets in the room are ”no”. This is delicious. And the paper towel is thankful for this time. I even feel safe that there is a firm measure in this ”Arima Kan”. There is no body soap to wash the body in the rooftop open-air bath. Just enter the hot water. The view is certainly good because it is the height of the 7 floor. After the rooftop open-air bath, go to the large bath ”gold hot water”. In the large bath ”gold hot water”, there is a bath in the bathtub made of Shigaraki Yaki, and the hot water temperature is too hot to enter because it is a source. The hot water is very beautiful, so I want to enter it very much, but it is not very regrettable. There is also a precious rock bath sauna. It is certainly a very nice hot spring and is satisfied. The source of Arima Kan is a hot spring that can be drunk under the permission of the health center, and it is effective 々, and I get a small amount of hot spring hot water, but it is not delicious in compliment. It comes out of the medicine pot of Yakushi Nyorai statue of the principal image of the hot spring. It becomes a dinner for room meals. It is said that this dinner provides dishes related to local Yamagata ingredients. There are various titles ”countryside cherry blossoms”. There is a beef stew in the meal at a common hot spring inn, and it is very rare, but this is delicious again. The rice cherry blossoms from Yamagata are delicious. The amount is moderate and there is no food loss. The next morning, the ”romantic hot water” which was the woman hot water last night is the man hot water. ”Romantic bath” 5 You can enjoy a kind of bath, and the bath of the self-spray that followed the romantic of the hot spring is very pleasant. A bath made of a kind of ”precious jewel” of igneous rock made by crustal fluctuation about 3000 years ago. It seems that when this stone is used for bathing, the hot water is soft and hard to cool, and it is said that there is fatigue recovery and beauty effect. Breakfast is also a room meal and is a healthy breakfast. It was delicious in a reasonable amount. ”Open-air hot water Arima Kan” was a great inn with only the inn that won the first place in the Tohoku area for two consecutive years by the ”sale Sujijuku ranking” selected by the ”jaran” user.

It is an old hotel, so you may not want to take a bath in your room, but their public bath is good. This place is on the hill which means you will not want to walk by your own in winter because of the slippery Mountain path. But in other hand it is really convenient because they provide shuttle bus to bus station or cable car station. And there is a ski place just in front of the hotel, you can borrow the equipments from hotel.

Just off the deck in front of Yamagata Station, good access along the big street in front of the station. It is also convenient to the restaurant town in front of the station. Because it is not a big hotel, there is no special feature, but the room is clean and comfortable, there is no luxury, but there is also a free breakfast, and the price was relatively reasonable. The minimum required functions were complete and perfect to stay simple. In addition, since there is no parking lot around, it is difficult to park far away (opposite the main street, parking JA Yamagata, 3 block away). It is recommended for those who don't care about here.

〈 room 〉 Japanese style room is wide 々 The interior is old but clean and the amenities are substantial 〈 hot spring 〉 The dressing room and the public bath were very clean without garbage and slippery. The hot water temperature is also suitable for temperature The panorama view from the bathtub was also good 〈 meal 〉 Impression that there were many white rice, sushi, noodles and carbohydrates for dinner The amount was sufficient but only the thick seasoning overall. Even the people felt less 々 thick but rich in food and delicious 〈 customer service 〉 polite customer service, the female staff was friendly with a smile to the child Overall, I was able to stay comfortably without dissatisfaction.

We arrived at Mt Zao in the middle of Our Epic Six Week Trip To Japan, during which we stayed in nine different hotels. This room was amongst my favourites. The staff largely didn't speak English and were not helpful. We had a stand off at the restaurant as we didn't understand that we couldn't dine at there without having made a booking far in advance. After this was explained,  there was no apology or suggestions for alternative dining options. There are limited dining options in Zao. We ate at the Soup Curry place one night and a cute sushi joint another night. On the last night we ended up getting an ebiken bento box from the local L****ns as nothing was open. We did book breakfast each morning and that was fantastic. Lots of Japanese and Western options and it seemed like the food had all been prepared onsite. The hotel is very pretty, with a lovely view of the forest from the lobby. There is a common room with free coffee, tea and ice creams. People were pretty friendly in there. The hotel is the furthest from the 'town' but the closest to the ski lift and to the 'sulfurous' onsen. The ski lift is about 50 metres from the hotel and the ride up and down is spectacular. I thought the onsen was top notch. The sulfurous onsen outside has milky water that is supposed to be good for your complexion. It was fun having an onsen with snow all around. We stayed in the Western style room - it was spacious and well appointed. Our little lounge area had a beautiful view of pine trees and lots of snow. There was also a similar view from the luxurious bath tub (but I didn't use that tub as the onsen was so good.) The beds in our room were very hard. Our room also had a massage chair which I used for hours a time. It was a bit of a trek getting to Mt Zao. The hotel staff weren't very helpful with organising buses but they did drop us off at the bus stop early in the morning and we were picked up on our day of arrival. I know that the staff weren't friendly to us because of the language barrier, which is a shame because everyone should enjoy this venue. I would stay here again for sure. Next time we'll book the dinner set. It did smell amazing ! --

I stayed in a room with foot bath and hot springs. I was able to disinfect my fingers at the entrance and disinfect the room at the front desk. In addition, it was the impression that Nakai would take care of the hot spring, such as the guide of the room at the front desk to prevent infection, and it was the impression that the countermeasure was firm. I was a little lost in a quite large building. I saw the mountain of Zao and had a good view from foot bath and hot springs. It was hot water. The female amenities had local cosmetics trials. I don't know because I don't use a large bath. I think the dishes were the amount of couples who were full in the morning and evening. Dinner was a plan to choose steak meat and rice. I think there is another plan. I was very good value for money because of go to travel. You may not stay in a room with a hot spring many times. . . But it was a hot spring that I wanted to stay again. It's a hard time, but I want you to work hard. Thank you.

AAnonymous UserForeign websites can not be booked very popular, Ctrip was booked by me to the last one! The core town of Tibetan King Hot Spring Scenic Area is very small. This homestay is operated by an old couple in pension village (Wood House Village) on the edge of the town. If you don't drive by yourself, you need to discuss the daily pick-up time with the boss. It takes only five minutes to drive to the town, but it can't walk. The boss is very enthusiastic and punctual. He will use a translator to communicate with you, so there is no pressure to communicate. Basically go skiing in the morning and return to the homestay at night. The homestay is unexpectedly more cost-effective than the town. Breakfast is 3000yen per person, dinner is 4000yen per person, very rich, and the price of drinks is fair! This kind of wooden house will have insects, which is the kind of awkward mobile, the size of peanut grains, and it will not affect people's rest without biting. It will be fine to see the tape provided by the hotel sticking out of the window or letting it go outside the window. I think the only downside is that the wooden house is poorly soundproofed. The homestay stipulates that it is a rest time after ten o'clock in the evening, but if you encounter unqualified tenants, you will be noisy.

KkoshimenteSince we made a reservation on the day, it was 35,000 yen for two people for one night with only breakfast. We were upgraded to a slightly larger room. Carbonated water, alcohol, coffee, etc. were free until midnight, which was nice. The large public bath was clean and had a nice atmosphere, and it felt so good that I wanted to stay in the bath for a long time. Since the plan did not include dinner, they introduced us to some recommended restaurants. It was a little disappointing that there was nothing particularly noteworthy about the breakfast, but there was nothing bad about the inn. Next time I would like to try dinner.

GGuest UserI used the all-inclusive plan. In the lounge, you can drink drinks (alcoholic beverages such as coffee) in self-style at dinner and breakfast from 15:00 to 22:00 and 7:00 to 10:00. Coffee, tea, petit cakes, beer, and Yamagata wine were placed in the lounge on the lobby floor. After taking a bath, we sampled two types of Yamagata wine and enjoyed herbal tea and petit cakes in the lounge. Some people were relaxing with beer, wine, etc. and enjoying tea and cake. I didn't use it, but there was a room with comic books, and some people borrowed them and read them in the room or lounge. As for the room, I didn't expect much because it was a plan this time, but it was a room where you could see the scaffolding currently being renovated. However, my family spent a lot of time in the lounge, so it didn't bother me. Currently (December 2022), about half of the inn seems to be under renovation (outer wall?), and scaffolding was set up in half. I was. The bath is a large public bath and an open-air bath, and the wash area is equipped with amenities. There was also a shampoo bar in the women's bath. It was a colorless and transparent hot spring with a soft feeling. The cold water machine is also good because you can drink both cold water and room temperature water. Dinner and drinks were all inclusive. However, it was different from the type of wine that was in the lobby lounge. Afterwards, I thought it would have been better if I had tasted the 5 types of sake in the lobby lounge. I don't have a chance to drink yamagata wine. The wine served at dinner was also Yamagata wine. Of the several types, I personally liked Sainte Neige white wine (Chardonnay), which uses Yamagata grapes. Dinner was Japanese food, but we also had Yamagata beef roast beef and beef stew, which went well with wine. The most delicious dish was steamed Yamagata beef Kagura. What impressed me was that most of the all-inclusive and all-you-can-drink wines were made overseas, but this all-inclusive only served Yamagata wine, which made me very happy. Sainte-Neige wine is also sold at the hotel shop, and it was 2750 yen per bottle. I was very happy to be able to drink expensive (for me) delicious wine at dinner with all-inclusive. Breakfast was a buffet, but it was a satisfying buffet with local colors. I enjoyed Imoni, shiso rolls, Tsuyahime porridge and rice, and (preserved) cherries. I could drink beer etc. at breakfast, but there weren't many people drinking. We didn't drink at home. In addition, everyone in charge of dinner and breakfast was also pleasant. After breakfast, I went to the lounge and drank coffee. We stayed in an all inclusive accommodation and enjoyed it very much. I felt a delicate female gaze in various places throughout the inn. I think that it is an inn that has been creatively invented.
