The buffet dinner was unexpectedly incredible with plenty of choices, especially the locally sourced Kinmedai fish which was fresh and delicious. Hotel room was clean and tidy. Both onsen on 1/F and top floor were spacious. No complaint at all. Thanks for the hospitality!"

"When we arrived at the hotel, the reception desk was empty. There was only a lot of goods in the lobby. After waiting for a few minutes, a staff member finally came to help. Because I arrived at the hotel earlier than the check-in time, I could only store my luggage, but the staff happened to say that a room had been cleaned early, so I could arrange an early check-in ~ I am really grateful! In addition, I originally booked a room with an independent bathroom, but when I got to the room, I found that I needed to use a shared bathroom, so I checked with trip.com customer service. The answer was that I need to check with the hotel myself😀 Fortunately, I talked with the hotel front desk. Then they were willing to transfer my apartment to me. However, after I went to the room and made the quilt, I found that there were insects crawling on the quilt. Two minutes later, I also found a flying insect next to the curtain. It seems that there are always insects in the suburbs? I probably won’t consider this hotel next time I visit Kamogawa. Especially for travelers with suitcases, please note that the road from the railway to the hotel is uneven and a bit difficult to navigate."

"Posted because I was sad during my stay. 1 night, 2 meals, 15,000 yen, Gids room. This is my honest opinion. I think it fits most seaside business hotels. After checking in, there is no service such as guiding to the room or carrying luggage. It is an old building, but the rooms have been renovated, but I think there are some things that are bothersome. Mold, bugs, etc. Dinner is a buffet. The sashimi is dry and conveyor belt sushi is more delicious. I was sad about the low standard, so I went to the nearby Family Mart to buy some things and had dinner there. I think I would have been more satisfied if I had stayed overnight and paid 3,000 yen at a nearby izakaya or set meal restaurant. It was a cheap inn, but I think I would have been more satisfied with a business stay in Tokyo."

"1. The value for money is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly poor. A room with breakfast and dinner cost over 2,000 yen. The dinner was completely unappealing, and I didn't even bother taking photos. I didn't expect the dinner at a hotel costing over 2,000 yen a night to be so perfunctory...it was even worse than breakfasts at other hotels. Of course, the breakfast was also incredibly average. 2. Room and Facilities: This is an older hotel, so the facilities are understandably dated. However, the room was spacious, with two queen beds and a tatami room, and an ocean view. 3. Service: The service was excellent, and there were many Chinese staff members. I will never book here again. It's far inferior to other hotels costing over 2,000 yen (50,000 yen) a night. Does anyone have any recommendations for good hotels near Kamogawa?"
