On booking.com extra comment was added, honeymoon trip. No acknowledgement was received from the hotel regarding this. Emails we received was over and over again to upgrade the room and extra services. Little acknowledgement of congratulations and thank you for choosing us was enough as customer service. Easy fast check in. Room location was well explained. The room itself was very nice, size wise and clean. slippers, bath rope and extras were foreseen. Also there was a little welcome card with a cookie for the honeymoon. Thank you.

Stayed here two nights in mid-January 2023. Hotel is located in a gritty area, with much construction, but just a five minute walk to the main train station, with many transit connections. It's about a 10 - 20 minute walk to various tourist sites in the city. There are convenience stores and dining options nearby. Staff was OK but not overly friendly. Single room was small, but clean and the price was fair. There was a heating/AC unit on the wall but one button was missing and it didn't appear to be working. Temp was OK. There was a small desk and chair. Shower and sink were in the room and toilet in a small closet. The window opened into a narrow ventilation shaft so it was rather dark. Wifi, lights and TV worked fine. I didn't pay for the breakfast. It wasn't great, but it did the trick.

All staff are gentle.
but it was shame that I found a cup with colored water on the desk, maybe someone drunk.

This is a fantastic small hotel. The rooms are super clean and stylish. This is an ideal location for wandering into the city and exploring. The hotel is set in a small quiet street with a pizzeria and patisserie opposite. 20 mins walk into the old town and there is plenty of sightseeing to be done. Marco the hotel manager/receptionist/barman has a wealth of knowledge and was kind enough to point us in the right direction for everything from the best places to eat to how to catch the train. The buffet breakfast is really good - everything you could want. We will definitely be back.

I take you a point in the cleaning assessment for using a moquette, not because it was dirt or much less, cleaning is deserved a 5 too, but I know it is vital for people with allergies and other impediments with it. The B****y by Warwick made for a very comfortable and reasonably priced stay for two nights in Brussels. We came to visit family in Belgium but the family we usually stay with all had covid-19. So we had to make a hotel reservation at the last minute (actually from the airport in Doha while waiting for our connecting flight). The hotel is very well located. In an area of Brussels that is out of the most touristic parts of the city, but which is surrounded by parks and interesting neighborhoods. And very easy to walk or take the tram to the centre of the city. The staff could not be more accommodating. As other reviewers have noted, the décor is ”classic” and not contemporary. But the beds are very comfortable. and the garden terrace in back makes for a very pleasant place to have breakfast, or tea or a drink in the afternoon or early evening. This is the 2nd time that we have stayed here. And very much enjoyed both of our stays.

We had been on a coach trip all around Europe, and stayed at this ”hotel” on our way back to Calais. I can honestly say it was the worst place I have ever stayed in. It was dark, and dingy, no decent lighting. We arrived about 8pm, all hungry, and we had a choice of 2 stews or pizza. The room was so tiny, we could not put 2 cases anywhere, I ended up putting mine by the door, which, really, would have been a fire hazard, as you couldn't get to the door in an emergency. The curtains were hanging off the rail, the pictures were all crooked, walls were thin, and we could hear everything our neighbours were saying. No tea or coffee in the room. One of our group, their room wasn't even ready, it was disgusting. Breakfast was awful, just ”continental”. The ”hot” water for tea, was luke warm. Could not use. The toaster didn't work properly and the staff ended up taking it away! As said before, the lighting was practically non-existent, could not see what you were eating. Coach companies - DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. It put a really damper on our otherwise great holiday. In the morning, our drivers ended up collecting all the cases from the rooms because ”the porterage person” hadn't turned up that day!!
