It is not a hotel but a structure in an advanced state of abandonment. First of all, the access road is an elephant path that can only be traveled by jeep through potholes and floods. To get there, expect an hour's wait for a dilapidated and dirty means of transport provided by the hotel. So another half hour of uncomfortable walking. In a word you will be in a cage inside the jungle. The so-called swimming pool is a huge frog pond, maintenance is unknown, the roof is a sieve of rainwater even in the rooms. We are talking about a scam. After one night we ran elsewhere. Absolutely avoid...

We went to Aswadduma Hotel for the my birthday.very attentive and pleasant service the food was great I can definitely recommend this place.we had the great experiences Great views and pool we will definitely be back.

Aswadduma hotel this is an eco friendly hotel... so much greenery is so relaxing... Hotel was really peaceful calm and quiet. Overall the place and services are appreciate level. I would highly recommend this place.... I love that place....

We had a good experience in the hotel . Staff is very supportive & friendly. Room conditions( sizes , space , cleaning ) are excellent . We were happy with the menu & foods . food is very tasty . since this is very close to the lake we experienced nice scenarios & wild animals . Recommended place for leasure with the garden space & music of birds

The experience was great and the staff is welcoming. The pool was great and it was not that busy. We tried all the Sri Lankan meals and they were great. Nice place to stay outside of busy town area. Will come back soon.

One word: Incredible. The welcome, the people, the place, the nature. It's all about respect. The price is worth the service. I totally recommend this hotel. Certainly the trip is out of season but the service is of incredible quality. Dinner and breakfast nothing to say.

The location of the hotel is excellent for nature lovers. The environment is very quiet. The hotel is very close to Kandalama Lake. You can access the lake from the hotel. It is nearly 15 km from Dambulla town. If you want to buy some things you have to come to Dambulla town. Sigiriya & Pidurangala are also close to this place15 -20 km). The room quality is good. We stayed in the family suite room with my four family members. There are two-room for the family suite connected together on 03rd & 04th floor. There are two bathrooms. A safety locker is also in the room. There is a swimming pool at the hotel. Staff service is also at a good standard. The only weakness is food quality & food verities included in a meal. There are only a few selections for the meal. There were only string hoppers & milk rice for our breakfast. Due to this reason In comparison with similar types of hotels, It is not worth you to invest money to stay in this hotel.
