It was the first time I came to the plateau. I was always worried about the altitude sickness, the cold, and it was snowing in the evening. But when I arrived at the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. First of all, I entered the room. It was so warm. The boss had turned on the floor heating early, and the room also had oxygen supply equipment. I felt at ease right away. The room was clean, the bedding was good, and toilet mats and disposable face towels were prepared. When I booked the room, there was no breakfast. The boss also told me that there would be breakfast tomorrow morning, which really made me feel warm. This trip to Western Sichuan was so complete.

Hostel is situated perfectly next to the bus station and walking distance to the town centre. Staff were super nice, and the hostel is clean and has a really cool vibe. Met some cool roommates too! It is indeed rare to have a hotel with its own parking lot in Kangding. Although it is on the edge of the city, the transportation is convenient. There are buses or taxis when you go out. There was a surprise when we arrived in western Sichuan. It was snowing heavily and we came over many mountains in the middle of the night. Fortunately, my sister had turned on the electric heating belt in advance, so it was very warm. It was too cold outside, and the floor heating had been on all the time but it couldn't feel warm. But the floor was hot, which was better than nothing. The next day, the big brother of the hotel was playing with a drone, a U3, haha. I took pictures and videos and introduced some wild spots to take pictures, which were very photogenic. Wow, it was so cool, but don't drive at night like us, it's too dangerous. But western Sichuan is worth visiting at any time. If there is snow, see the snow; if there are mountains, see the mountains; if there is grassland, see the grassland. It all depends on opening the blind box, haha. I also recommend the hotel. It is an economical hotel with a suitable price and clean and hygienic. It is very convenient to eat on the main street. If you don't want to be ripped off, you should ask more people in the hotel to avoid embarrassment. Locals generally know which restaurant is reliable.

The location is very good, right next to the scenic spot. It was raining heavily when we arrived. The staff came out with umbrellas to meet us and help us with our luggage. There is hot tea at the front desk and the breakfast is also good. The room has oxygen supply at night. This room type is great, suitable for a large family to live together, and there are two bathrooms. Picture 1 is the Yala Snow Mountain seen from the room window. It is better to book this kind of regular hotel when going out to play, so that you can save worry and rest assured.

This guesthouse is extremely comfortable - all the amenities are brand new and very nice (TV, water dispenser, Dyson hair dryer, electric toilet) The bed was especially comfortable. When we woke up it was a rainy day, but it was lovely to watch the view from under the blankets with a cup of tea. Later we had a yummy breakfast downstairs (Chinese buns and hot rice milk). They also had no problem to check in foreigners, although they don’t speak English (we called ahead to confirm this). It was a steep walk with our bags up the mountain, but I’m sure you could arrange a car.

The service was very good and the room was very clean. It has its own parking lot, and there are two parking lots. On the night of check-in, I asked the front desk for water. Maybe it was not delivered because it was too late. The next day, the room lady gave me so many bottles. The breakfast is also quite satisfying, so don’t expect to compare with four or five stars. This is a delightful little hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms. They have a nice dining/sitting area downstairs, very light and with nice flowers and plants. There’s a little bar and a great coffee machine but sadly you couldn’t get coffee in the morning , a bit disappointing, it would have made the stay better. 😟 It seems no one could work it or willing too. The staff were otherwise obliging and helpful although no one can speak English. They have a carpark underneath which is convenient. It’s fine for overnighting in Kangding. It’s up a very steep hill. It’s very quiet in the evening so nice for sleeping.
