I was really drunk. I changed the hotel without my consent. Even if the location was too expensive, it was expensive. It was not on the icon at all. It was really speechless. Just disagree with the order if there is no room! The water was stopped for one night, and the face was not washed the next day. Anyway, speechless, I will never live in this place again

The boss and the proprietress are very good. The second stay, the room was clean and tidy, the sheets were covered with comfortable bedding. In the morning, the enthusiastic proprietress also sent butter tea to boil the flowers. Sitting in the small courtyard watching the beautiful mountain view, drinking butter tea and eating peanuts and chatting with the simple and kind boss is an extreme. Beautiful thing. People here and the mountains here give people a feeling of being at home, and they will come back later.

#Praise# for the layout of the room, the comfort of the bedding, the convenience of transportation, the prevention and control of mosquitoes, the sound insulation is satisfactory; there are large dams, the parking is convenient, and the boss is very enthusiastic. I especially recommend the pork ribs made by the boss to be delicious.

JJake Vaughan 杰克Amazing hostel with cozy interior and a really lovely host who made the stay extra enjoyable! The location was ideal for me as the hostel is high enough up the hill that you get an stunning view but still only have to walk around 10 minutes (up/down hill) to get to the centre of the city. The rooms were comfortable and clean and the common area for relaxing is beautifully decorated in traditional ******* style. The host was really helpful and caring (always bringing us tea and snacks) and we had some great conversations with her about life in Kangding. She gave us lots of advice on what to do in the city, helped us out organizing cheap transport back to Chengdu, and even made us a super unique and delicious fusion meal of yak steak with salad. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere with a traditional feel and a great view!

Because we are mainly here for wedding photos, this hotel is very close to the divorce yarn shop. It is just a two-minute walk away. #Room facilities because it is a newly opened hotel, room facilities Very new. Our first night was the container outside the first floor. I experienced the feeling of outdoor camping. I also brought a small terrace. It was quite good. #Parking is on the right side of the gate. Parking is available. There is also a tram charging pile. It is very convenient. #Service service is really super good! ! ! We took pictures the night before leaving. It was about 12 o'clock. When we went back, we found that the hotel butler was still at the door. Because our first night was outside the first floor, the next day we changed the room on the third floor. He took us to the room because it was too tired that day. The machine was out of power the next day and found out that when we came back at night, the little housekeeper sent us a message to let us go back. When we went back, be careful. It was really super intimate that night when we were waiting for us at the door! ! ! ❤️❤️❤️

GGuangguangtangThe design of the hotel is very beautiful. Due to the weather, many roads were blocked by falling rocks. From Xiaojin, we could only go back to Dujiangyan and take 318 to Xinduqiao. It rained heavily on the road and we were driving at night. The store kept We were told to be careful on the road, but we arrived at around 12 o'clock in the morning. The store owner enthusiastically helped us carry our luggage and turned on the oxygen supply for us in advance, which was very considerate. The weather turned fine the next day, and we arrived at Yuzixi smoothly and experienced the mysterious scenery of western Sichuan.

AAmanda_SofiaHostel is at a 5min walk from the busstation which is very conventient. It is quite a walk from there to the center of the city though. It was a bit difficult to find as the entrance is at the entrance of a different hotel and you have to go to the upper floor to enter the hostel.
Female dormroom is quite small and there is almost no space to leave your luggage.
The bedsheets weren't clean, and clearly used before.
Plenty of toilets and showers available, which were quite clean. The family who runs the hostel is very kind but they don't seem to know much about activities such as hiking in the area.
Wifi available in the common area.
Okay for one or two nights.

BBrownI stayed in this town four years ago, and my hotel was an absolute dump. Dark, cold, drafty, and unfriendly. There were very few hotels in town at that time . Wow! have things changed for years. There are now quite a few more hotels and the Holiday Inn not only met, but exceeded my expectations. Absolutely clean, great amenities, heated floor in the bedroom !!! large space in the bedroom. Everything was just great. Underground parking with elevator to the lobby. The staff does not speak much English but they’re absolutely expert using their phone as a translator and we had zero problems communicating. Very friendly staff - - couldn’t ask for more. I would definitely return here.

BBrianaWe enjoyed the opportunity to have a hotel in Kangding that provided an authentic ******* feel! The room was very comfortable with all necessary amenities covered. When we needed help to organize some logistics, the husband and wife owners went out of their way to talk with us on WeChat and solve our needs. The trip would have been difficult without their help. Overall the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, just the location is up a steep hill which was an intense walk with our backpacks.

BBrianaThis guesthouse is extremely comfortable - all the amenities are brand new and very nice (TV, water dispenser, Dyson hair dryer, electric toilet) The bed was especially comfortable. When we woke up it was a rainy day, but it was lovely to watch the view from under the blankets with a cup of tea. Later we had a yummy breakfast downstairs (Chinese buns and hot rice milk). They also had no problem to check in foreigners, although they don’t speak English (we called ahead to confirm this). It was a steep walk with our bags up the mountain, but I’m sure you could arrange a car.

BBingcunI booked the ”river view” room on the 13th floor and obviously, I stuck gold after cranking my head from my room window, looking down to the raging water roaring through the river in the center of the city street. When I said ”raging” water, I meant cascading flows that echo through the entire city block. I had seen such terrain in Switzerland before but this is more impressive.
So ”location” is the biggest merit and I would recommend never sparing the money in exchange for the river=side room. Plus, the hotel is looking against the famous ”Love Song” Plaza of KarnDin City. For those who wonder what the big deal is about the ”KangDin Love Song”. For starters, it is a part of the Chinese growing-up song that is deeply entrenched in education, for even a person raised in Taiwan, let alone ethnical Chinese in the Mailand. It is more like a pilgrimage than touring that brought many to the city.
The smaller plaza right in front of the hotel lobby begins to gather impromptu dances at about 8 pm (Beijing time, local time ~ 6 p.m.). I admire the local Tibetans of all ages whose spontaneity sways with the music. The hotel doorman told me that yes, there were Han tourists also in the troupe, but you could usually tell them apart because they were the awkward-looking ones.
I have no complaints about the service, and I appreciate the enthusiasm the front desk people show when I try to gather information.
One more thing before I leave: if you are tired of the summer heat, Kangdin is the city you want to come! In late June, the daily high is 12 C!
The travel to the city has made extremely convenient by the recent completed Highway 42--an incredible feat of tunnel engineering in the world.

AAnonymous UserThe last stop of my trip to Western Sichuan came to Kangding. I personally care about the old and new hotels. I chose a hotel that was renovated in 2024. In fact, it was renovated, but it was only the exterior corridor. The important thing is that the bathroom in the room still looks like an old hotel. It is very old! The toilet, air conditioner, TV, are new and partially renovated (the bathroom shower facilities are very old, the floor tiles still have potholes) and are not renovated at all. The hotel was built in 2008 and has been 16 years old. Forget it. More importantly, I slept with my partner. I scratched a huge itch all night. It was one or two o'clock in the morning. I was too lazy to make a call until the morning. When I woke up and washed up, I found that the plate holding the towels was moldy. I really couldn't stand the collapse. Although the attitude was very good, the hotel was being renovated. The outside guests did not live outside. I hope the hotel would take care of it. The room hygiene is good, but I still like the city of Kangding. It started to rain a little when I returned to the room at night. When the little brother saw us, he enthusiastically gave us an umbrella, but the hygiene was worrying! I rarely write reviews but my body was really itchy and there were a few little red spots on my back.

GGuest UserAlthough the service attitude of the boss is very good, I still have to say that this is the worst place to sleep in Xiaohuan in Western Sichuan, because this B&B is right on the edge of the national highway, 0 distance away! Downstairs, heavy trucks drove past one after another all night long. The roar of their engines and the sound of horns from time to time kept them awake all night. The windows of the B&B are single-layer glass and wooden windows with large gaps and no sound insulation at all. After a day of traveling and being unable to sleep at night, think about what it feels like!
