Zostel McLeodganj

Place is very average, it is little down from the mall road. Go down 100 stairs and if you need to go to market go up a 100. Bed linens are not clean enough. In-house cafe/ restaurant is good.

I booked a delux room with balcony and mountain view, everything was perfect and amazing. The room was clean and well maintained, the staff was courteous and well behaved. All in all everything was perfect.

They are not waiting for 15 mins after 10 am for checkout. Their cafeteria is good, rooms are cleaned but there is no person for help for luggage as there are 100 stairs to reach zostel. And in zostel itself there are 50 stairs.

The rooms were very small not worth the price. Didn't have ac. The washrooms were stinky. To reach zostel, there is a very steep staircase, very difficult for people with luggage

Poor service, no towels are provided in deluxe rooms, food okay, location also not good you need to take stairs with your luggage with is quite steep

Property is in prime location, good room and a good view. Food was good, decent ambience maintained.

Excellent feeling of hostel! budget friendly and good way to meet new smart minds. All about a new experience for me. Just strangers with some beautiful memories.

I went for a solo trip and chose staying at zostel mcleodganj; safe to say i’m returning with a heavy heart and a lot of friends! i absolutely loved the folks managing this zostel - rajat, munish, sunny, akshay. They always went above and beyond to ensure your needs are met. The food at indie by salvation was finger-licking good; the view and the karaokes, the live singing were cherry on the cake! apart from the usual, what stood out for me was that they made us feel like we were their own- they had called a barista to add new beverages to the menu, and asked us to taste them and give our feedback. It is small actions like these that make you feel seen and heard that go a long way! just an example of how amazing their hospitality is. )

The location is situated at a very strange place where no cabs can drop you. In-case you have heavy luggage you have to carry it down through a pile of steps that seemed never ending. Front end staff were not cooperative. The rooms are not maintained at all. Flush was not working. Latch was broken. In conclusion please rethink if you want to visit this place.
