"AHIRUYAH Guest House" is a youth hostel run by a Japanese family who loves Kaohsiung.
The character of our hotel is that many Japanese guests come to stay.
Our philosophy is to make every visitor feel like a home when they come to live in a duck house. Let the passengers relax after a day out playing back to the duck house.
In the duck family, headed by Japanese guests, many foreign tourists come here. Everyone is because they like Taiwan and want to have more exchanges with Taiwanese.
The Youth Hostel is located near the Kaohsiung Beautiful Island MRT Station and is only a 3-minute walk away. Adjacent to the famous Liuhe Tourist Night Market, the surrounding life is excellent and the transportation is convenient.Show More

The location is very close to Formosa Station and you can walk to admire the Dome of Light. The accommodation facilities are like student dormitory rooms. It’s a bit troublesome to sleep on the upper floor and you have to go up and down the stairs.

There were lice on the bed. I slept in bed 6A first and there were lice. Then I changed to 6B, which was OK. But finally I had to change rooms and beds to 3B, and then there were lice again. On the day of check-in, 19/3/2024, the attitude of the waiter at night was not good. OK, the rest is OK.

Choose this hostel because check in time 3pm.
Like the security system & cleaneses. Big common area for guests to hang around. Hear that hostel boss are Japanese.
However, feel that most traveller don't like social with others. Maybe this is post covid situation at Taiwan?
