Babylon Rotana Hotel

I had a comfortable stay at Baghdad Babylon Rotana. The hotel has a pleasant setting beside the Tigris, and the staff were professional and helpful. Security is understandably very strict, with airport-style screening at the entrance, which provides reassurance although it can make arrival slightly slower. My travel cooker was retained by security during my stay and returned when I checked out. The hotel is a good choice for travellers who prioritise security, comfort and a convenient location in Baghdad. Overall, a positive experience.

Honestly, I regret choosing to stay at Rotana Babylon Hotel, as my experience so far has been well below my expectations. The two rooms assigned to me have been in very poor condition. Both rooms have had a strong cigarette smell, and the TVs are not working properly with very poor and distorted picture quality. This is quite disappointing and not what I would expect from a hotel that presents itself as a luxury property.

His professionalism, attentiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile made our stay seamless and enjoyable. He is a true asset to the hotel and exemplifies the high standards of hospitality at the Babylon Rotana.

Poor service Incompetent reception (more than 25 minutes to get our keys). Room very old fashioned . Power plugin not working. Matress uncomfortable . To make a long story short, it’s an outdated and overpriced hotel.
