Stay was good and the hotel included meals which were nice. Though the room would be better if it was renovated

RAS, very nice place

Very good, the room is clean and hygienic, there are no mosquitoes or poisonous insects. The restaurant is unexpectedly good, I am very satisfied with the breakfast and dinner. There are many animals on the grass by the lake, which is very interesting.

All the staff were friendly and helpful. To be highlighted are the reception and restaurant. The outdoor area, including the animals that appeared regularly, was very interesting and had something of a safari and holiday feel about it. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, need to be renovated and modernized. But nothing was missing here either. The food selection was sufficient, but could be a little more extensive (fruit, cheese), especially at breakfast.

The booked room type does not match the photos! It is said that double beds can be randomly arranged in the reservation, but none of the 4 rooms have double beds, and all of them are double beds.

Very nice resort with all the amenities. Friendly staff and great food. Room was nice with a mini fridge. Had to be escorted to dinner because hippos can come into the yard due to high waters. Close to the boat rides. Had great conversations with the Kenyan staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family in December 2023. Beautiful heritage property located by the lake. In the evening there were hippos, zebras and gazelles grazing right outside our room apart from many varieties of birds. They took us on a boat ride to a neighbouring island. Can get good variety of Indian and continental food with live counters in the buffet. Wood fired pizzas were great. The property houses a spa and swimming pool too. The staff are really warm and helpful. Special mention to GM Kamal.

I recently stayed at Muthu Lake Naivasha Country Club, which boasts a stunning view of Lake Naivasha and beautiful scenic surroundings. The food was also good, adding to the initial positive impression. However, our overall experience was far from satisfactory. The first issue we encountered was with the shower. The water pressure was extremely low, and we had to call the staff multiple times to assist us. Unfortunately, this was just the beginning of our troubles. It followed with a loud music played until 11.00pm as there were few guests who were parting with loud music. I wonder if Hippos were also dancing with them (seriously the resort has hippo as visitor at night) The major problem occurred at midnight when the toilet water started leaking, flooding the entire room. We had to call the hotel staff to clean up the mess, as the room was filled with toilet water. Thankfully, our baggage was on the table, but our footwear was drenched, leaving us to roam around the safari the next day in bathroom slippers. To make matters worse, when we asked to speak with the manager the next morning, there was no one available to attend to our concerns. For a hotel chain with 70 resorts worldwide, I expected a much higher level of professionalism. While the location is undoubtedly beautiful, these significant issues made our stay unpleasant. Think twice before booking at Muthu resorts, despite its scenic allure. P.S- I experienced the same water leakage issue at another Muthu resort in Kenya.

They don’t provide drinking water even while having dinner, you have to buy 450 KES for one bottle, so prepare accordingly , buy water and come Never seen such arrogance otherwise with water Not seen anywhere in the world It’s a good property no doubt

This is a beautiful resort right at the lake. It is an old property - hence is affordable compared to other new resorts in the vicinity. The staff is very helpful and polite. The souvenir shop has a good variety of stuffs for a quick buy before exiting the country. The highlight of the resort of course are the hippos that visit at night for grazing. It was amazing having dinner with hippos right outside the restaurant! There are plenty of monkeys/ water bucks and zebras in the property too. The dinner was amazing with lots of varieties including Indian Vegetarian!!! The breakfast however was a disappointment - we could only eat bread and butter as the vegetarian options were not palatable. Who wants to eat boiled sweet potatoes and potatoes for breakfast? :( An upma/ poha would have been ideal and completed the meal. But overall, a super experience - we loved our stay there!

A great place to appreciate what Africa can be. The staff is very friendly every place you go. The people are warm and concerned about the needs of the guests. I went for business and it is a great place to work because you will find tranquility in every corner. I simply moved my desk to the window and worked watching the animals playing outside. It's like being in a small zoo, where you will enjoy the singing of the birds and the jokes of the monkeys (just be careful not to leave your room open or your things unattended :)) The rooms are comfortable and quiet, I was able to sleep well all my stay. I would definitely repeat!!

A fabulous treatment, with delicious meals & very hospitable staffs. A place to visit again and again for the best experience ever. The natural serene environment is just unbelievable.
