Best Hotels near Peace and Freedom Museum, Karavas

This is our second time in Acapulco, and I believe it will not be the last. The hotel is situated on one of the most beautiful beaches in North Cyprus, providing a tranquil and relaxing experience. If you prefer the pool, you have two options and an aquapark where you can enjoy the day. Last year, I mentioned it would be nice to have a kettle in the room, and this year, we had one. We stayed in the same room as last year. Therefore, my experience with the rooms is limited, but the one we stayed in, located in Pine Court II, is quite large with a wonderful sea view. The building is also much quieter than the main building. The customer relations are excellent; they make you feel truly taken care of. I'd especially like to thank Esra Hanım, who is exceptionally solution-oriented and professional. I can say that Acapulco meets my expectations for both a hotel and a holiday, making me feel comfortable. I also enjoy the variety of food. The construction, which has been ongoing since last year, is finally in its last stages. It seems that the quality of the additional rooms will elevate Acapulco to another level.

It's located in the best street of lefkoşa, dereboyu. You have every shops that you need near you.Rooms are so clean and staffes are so kind.I suugest you this hotel because if you stay in this hotel you don't need take a taxi ,bus stop is near you or if you like you can walk because best restaurants and shops are near you and you don't need get away from hotel.I hope that you come and have a good experience same as me in this hotel.

Pros - Location - Spa - Roof top pool - Food Hotel within easy distance to harbour, bars,shops, and local transport. Rooms spacious and very clean. Cons - busy road opposite two petrol stations and traffic heavy all day. Staff on reception not helpful or accommodating. There is no air conditioning and our room on arrival at midnight was 26.5°. We couldn't believe it and had to insist on two fans that we left on permanently all night and the day when we were in the room. Some of the electric sockets and plugs had loose wiring so we had to keep reporting faults. Our main complaint was the heavy smell of petrol that we assumed came from the petrol station. When we phoned reception to request a move to another room we were told there were no more twin bedded rooms available but for what is classified as a five star hotel, I'm sure they could have accommodated us. The stench was overwhelming. Finally after calling in one of the cleaners she indicated it wasn't the petrol stations but the drain in the shower that she would clean out. That evening on returning to the room, the smell had gone. However next morning it started to seep in again. We called in another cleaner and pointed out the stench and showed her the sockets that didn't work. She said leave it to me and that night everything was fixed but we only had two nights left of our holiday. The cleaner's name was Hava and I would like to commend her to the hotel management. Our conversation was done though my translation app and sign language. In spite of everything we enjoyed our stay as the pros outweighed the cons. Would not stay at this hotel again until it is modernised. The summer months must be unbearable.

This no-nonsense travelers spot is perfect for people of any age that want an affordable place to stay yet still with good hygiene. Expect fellow travelers and students. The place has a spacious shared living room and study room with good wifi on the third floor. The staff is absolutely amazing. Henry the friendly guy from Nigeria is 10/10 customer service. I came back at 3 different occasions and all stays were great. And on top of that it was easy to connect with fellow travelers. So who I still keep contact with today.

The hotel is ideally located next to the pedestrian street of the Old Town of Nicosia. The hotel’s renovations and facilities are old. The front desk service is good. Breakfast is more abundant and there is a miniature museum.

We spent three nights here. Today we arrived safely. The Merymen Hotel is a family run business. Out of Girne about 12 kms.. Plenty of parking and nice gardens and some goats and chickens at the back. Plus a nice swimming pool.. Credit to the following team members. Skakuri. Zahid. Romanick and Ruth. Rooms are nice, bed comfort, very clean. Staff is very kind. I feel like home! Lunch and diner menu very tasty, breakfast is plenty of variety. Inner garden is my favorite place for diner and breakfast.

Stayed here for one week in October. The weather was extremely hot during our stay. We arrived early hours of the morning due to a late Easy Jet flight into Larnica then hanging around for our private transfer driver. The journey across the border wasn’t too bad but most of it across open farm land in the pitch black which was quite unnerving. I booked a superior room in the new wing above the restaurant. The room was modern, large & with a small balcony where I sat in the morning with my coffee watching the sun rise. Being at the back of the hotel, there was no issue with noise. We were on a bed & breakfast tariff as eating out in Northern Cyprus is very reasonable. Most of the guests staying here were either frequent returning guests, part of a tour group or only visiting for a few days to Gamble at the ****** next door or for cheap cosmetic surgery! Getting a sun bed around the pool was not an issue and there was a large bar/snack bar where there were plenty of tables and chairs with many in shady spots. The bar staff came around the pool for drinks/snacks orders too. All the staff were helpful and very friendly. You could walk into the old town from this hotel but because of the heat we got a taxi. We did an organised trip to Famagusta and the Ghost Town. We took a taxi to Kyriena castle and a taxi to Belapaise Monastery. All worth doing. Glad I booked this hotel instead of down in the Old Town. Other couples we spoke to that were in hotels down town complained about the constant traffic noise. Plenty of eateries within a short walk but watch out, the pavements are very uneven and a lot are broken too. Unfortunately the harbour area was still closed off due to overrunning completion which was a shame but looked like it was nearly finished.

We went to Korineum for the golf mainly. We had visited previously in September 2018 and loved it. This time we were disappointed with some aspects of our stay. The golf course was fantastic, beautifully kept and well maintained with great practise facilities. The staff at this resort were it's greatest asset. Everybody friendly and helpful, all wanting to help as much as they possibly could from the waiters to the managers. Cleaners to greens staff all had a continuous smile on their faces. The room was large with a sea view, the bathroom was massive with both a bath and a separate shower cubicle. Spotlessly clean and towels changed every day. The disappoin**ent was in the lack of transport to the town and the beach. The hotel is somewhat isolated and to get a taxi to Kyrenia was going to cost about 30 euros each way. The bus to the beach was not scheduled to operate until 10 May. Last time that we visited both buses were running and were a great way of seeing more of the area so we did feel out on a limb. The food in the restaurant was the usual buffet style with little choice of main courses and if we found something that looked ok it was never hot, only ever lukewarm. The breakfast was ok, the egg lady was great, but the bacon was fatty and uneatable so eggs every day. The last time we were there we visited the A la Carte restaurant but that had now closed down. Another disappoin**ent.
