CHOOSE ANOTHER HOTEL if you are not local.
Starting with general comments. The room was fairly comfy, got a nice medieval vibe despite stains on both towels provided. The hotel is located uphill. It is not a terribly long walk from downtown but if you have suitcases you might struggle a bit. We arrived early and were happy about being allowed to check in early at ~12:00. Breakfast was a straight 5/5. So far is a 3.5-4/5.
The very frustrating part came from the reception woman who had very limited English capacity. We came from Hong Kong where a visa is not required to travel in Czech. The woman almost refused our check-in by repeating "No", "China" and some other incomprehensible words, left us feeling heavily offended, until decades later she realised the difference between a Hong Kong and a China passport. From there she asked for our addresses and other infos and took another 20 minutes before we could get to our rooms.
Checkout was also a disaster. Nobody was sitting at the reception desk at 10:55 while the latest checkout time was 11:00. Minutes later the same woman showed up, and told us to pay straight. The rooms we booked were un-cancellable and we paid in full during the booking. Again she repeated "No pay", called a colleague who talked on the phone with us, finally understood that the money was held at the agency, then she would let us go, which wasted us another 30 minutes.
You get a lot of choices there with the price. Choose wisely.

Within 10 minute walk from this park like setting you will be on the Main Street for KV. Our room was very large and remodeled. Bath was also nice with large shower and rain showerhead that was so relaxing! Front desk lady friendly. She spoke German and limited English. We communicated well. We parked in front and also saw many friendly dogs! Breakfast was plentiful of typical choices.

O hotel tem um espaço externo belíssimo !!! Bem em frente à igreja mais famosa e bonita da cidade ,porém a recepção é fria e sem o mínimo de acolhimento ….a única pessoa simpática foi a atendente do café da manhã !! A cama é horrível e o chuveiro instalado num box super apertado !!

The best and cleanest hotel I have ever seen, the possibility of accommodation with a dog is amazing. The only minus is for parking - few parking spaces and some guests from Germany park more than two parking spaces.

The hotel has a lovely setting and environment, quiet location, a beautiful hotel and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Nice slippers and bath robe. The breakfast is small but fresh and has all you need. Warm bread at 7.30 😊

L'hôtel Malé Versailles est difficile à noter. Il y a du très bon et du moins bon. Le moins bon est l'absence d'accueil, même en arrivant en milieu d'après-midi (16h15 dans notre cas). L'unique employée arrive à l'heure du petit-déjeuner et part en début d'après-midi. Certes il y a une boîte aux lettres pour la clé, dont au demeurant l'emploi n'est pas complètement évident, mais enfin ce qui est acceptable dans une pension familiale l'est moins dans un hôtel par ailleurs de bonne qualité. Autre point négatif, la très grande chambre offre largement assez d'espace pour deux fauteuils confortables, au lieu de quoi on ne trouve qu'une chaise en bois plutôt spartiate. Enfin le restaurant est fermé depuis des mois en raison d'une "restructuration" de l'hôtel, alors qu'il n'y a pas trace de travaux. Dommage, la salle est agréable et la terrasse plus encore. Mais il y a du très bon. Tout d'abord, la position en pleine forêt, à distance pourtant raisonnable des promenades piétonnières (pour ceux qui ne marchent pas trop de kilomètres, prévoir quand même la voiture pour les endroits les plus éloignés), à l'entrée de sentiers de randonnée et tout près de la charmante église russe. Ensuite la salle de bains, vaste et pourvue d'une douche à l'italienne très agréable, et aussi l'excellente literie. Le parking peut être un peu juste si l'hôtel est plein mais pour notre part nous avons toujours trouvé place. Quant au petit-déjeuner il est servi dans une salle en mobilier traditionnel, un peu rustique, et il est d'excellente qualité. La terrasse reste accessible, mais sans service de bar, et elle est plaisante, sous les arbres et au bord d'un étang artificiel. Bilan, le rapport qualité-prix est normal ou presque pour Karlovy Vary, endroit cher, l'hôtel a beaucoup de qualités et bénéficie d'un calme inaccessible dans le centre de la station.

Lays in a very peaceful and beatiful place. The hotel's mood is excellent. Big Rooms and toilets. Delicous Breakfast. Free parking spot. Around 1 kilometer from city park. I recomend this hotel to couples.

We had good nice, everything was smooth, the room is correct. Good balance price-quality, nice location, easy check-in (self-check In ). The lady at reception did not speak much English but was extremely kind to us. The hotel is pet friendly which is very appreciated.
