This is a beautiful hotel located in a restored Russian era building. Most of the staff only speak Turkish but is adept at using Google Translate. Our stay was very comfortable. Kars is a quaint cosmopolitan city with Armenian churches, a Sejuk castle, Ottoman mosques and Russian era buildings. The hotel is very well located, tucked away at the end of city's main road. It is surrounded by great eating places and shops of honey and cheese. There is adequate night life in the area. We were able to watch Kafka dance one of the evenings. They serve a fantastic breakfast that allows sampling of local cheeses and honey. Kars is the place to buy cheese and honey. Ask the staff they helped us with this.

Great service by the staff all around. When I asked if there were any stores that sell homemade rose jam, they called around and brought me one! Just excellent service by the manager Mehmet and staff.

Great hotel in the center of Kars. Featuring contemporary rooms and a tasty breakfast. It was an excellent staring point for our excursions with knowledgeable local guide Celil Ersözoglu to Ani, Çildir lake and the town center.

The accommodation was the best choice I made for my brother and his wife! The friendliness of the staff is hard to beat!! A big compliment for that ❤️ Cleanliness and facilities are also first class!!! This hotel will always be our first choice from now on.

We highly recommend staying at the Kars Otel. We were greeted by Seda (hospitality) & Metin (very helpful with everything.). Manager Mehmet oversaw that everything was to our liking. Deniz managed our wood burning fireplace daily. Our room was spacious, comfortable & Super clean. Breakfast was full of local yummy treats, staff made great recommendations where to go & made reservations for dining. We were treated well everywhere we went. Thank you for a great stay. We highly recommend Kars Otel.

It was a perfect accommodation with every detail. The room, garden location, restaurant, breakfast choices, music broadcast, comfortable beds, location in the city were all perfect. We enjoyed it very much as a family. We stayed in the Arpaçay room.
