It is located in a very central location. All the staff are incredibly helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and well-kept. Air conditioning in the room was also problem-free.

The cleanliness of the rooms is not bad, but the bathrooms are very bad. The inside of the toilet bowl is green. The shower drain is technically in the wrong place, so no water flows. It becomes a pool. It is not clear whether the floor ceramics inside are clean or dirty.

Staff is very friendly and eager to assist. Some issues to communicate in english but they were solve. Room was beautiful with a breathtaking view to the Kars' Castle. Breakfast was delicious, fresh, and sorted.
Many options for dinning along the street and to purchase cheese which is their main product. People in the city are friendly and glad to assist foreigners.
I parked in front of the hotel, and it turned out they charge for parking, but the hotel told us we could park there. The person in charge came when we were leaving and charge me correctly and I pay with card.
Highly recommended for a nice Kars layover.

The Kale Hotel is in the centre of Kars, in an easy walking distance from the castle. The Turkish breakfast offers a wonderful spread of local delicacies, such as cheeses, egg dishes, salads, honey, jams and fresh breads complemented by strong Turkish tea. The rooms are clean, the beds very comfortable and the small fridge quite useful. The staff are friendly and respectful.

Well located, near the city center, the Kale hotel has 50 rooms equipped with private bathroom, television and Wi-Fi connection. Active since 2013, it offers, among its services, a Turkish bath, a sauna, a Finnish bath, a meeting room and a restaurant.

The hotel is dirty, cold, what more could you want? I couldn't understand how accurate the comments left here are. I've been changing rooms for the third time in two days. Even the floor in the room called a suite is cleaned. Pumpkin seeds are on the carpet, the hair on the carpet sticks to the hotel slippers. It was a big mistake to choose this hotel in this magical city where I came for a touristic visit. I wanted to share it so that future guests do not make the same mistake.
