We stayed in December when it was very cold and snowing. The room was cold and the heater is not very good. It’s actually the air conditioning unit and it is positioned by the front door to the room, which is a strange position as it’s far from the room itself. So we felt quite cold. The staff did all they can by providing extra blankets. In fact, the staff are very helpful. The location is good and convenient. I do think the owner should invest in an adequate heating system for the room.

Right in the old city. Perfect location next to the main gate so it’s not too far to walk from a taxi. All of the food and action is right outside the doorstep.

Fantastic location. Right above food street in old town. Great attitude of staff. Very helpful.
Beautiful decoration in the rooms.
Air con is under sized for the room so it needs to run all day to keep the room cool.
Beds are very hard. Old Chinese style.
Walkways and balconies are dusty. I know hard to keep clean as Kashgar is a dry place
Definitely recommend but be aware of above

Perfect location above the lively old town main food street with nicely decorated, spacious rooms and a balcony where it is easy to relax and people watch on the street below. Fast WiFi too, and a powerful aircon unit. Definitely recommended. We liked it so much we returned for a second, longer stay. (Note that being in the pedestrian-only old city you can’t drive directly to the hotel but it’s only 5 minutes walk from the nearest taxi drop-off and about 10 minutes walk from public parking.)

The hair dryer in the room didn't work well, but the boss provided another hair dryer. The TV doesn't seem to work very well.
