It was a great trip, especially with a few good friends. Although there was no opposite sex, it did not affect our enjoyment of life and emotional release!
The hotel is really perfect, with complete facilities, pleasant environment, and all three meals in the restaurant are well arranged. It was also a romantic party... Walking along the white beach in the morning and evening, riding a motorboat with the sunset... Perfect!
Next time, I can really bring my family to Sang Island for a trip. It is hospitable and the scenery is pleasant!

Brilliantly organised, amazing beach and a lovely spa. The food was outstanding, and the staff wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The beach is perfect, no tides and white sand. We stayed in a jungle villa, which was disappointing... sparsely furnished (especially the main villa, which could easily have fitted another double bed), very basic, nothing luxurious about it, torn mosquito nets, worn out furniture etc. Shame, as the overall setting is great. Round beds... a definite no.

We stayed at Gold for 7-nights in Decemebr and had an amazing time. It reall feels like paradise whilst we were there. The room was great and spacious. We had a few problems with the shower but the team was quick to action and sort the problem. Location - excellent and near one of the best be beahes in Zanzibar. The room was luxurious and spacious. We had a few problems with the shower but the team were quick to act and sorted in quickly. The cleaners were efficent and did a great job. They sprayed the toom with mosquito repellents and didn't really have any issues. The service was amongst the best that I've come across. Nicole was brilliant and chekced in on us on a regular basis. My wife also has some food intolerances but the Chef was excellent in ensuring she had enough choice for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was the best part of the day for me (omelettes were delicious). Overall, the staff service was brilliant. In summary, we would definitely stay here again if we came back to Zanzibar, and I'd recommend this hotel to my friends and family for sure.

I stayed 2 nights from 13th-15th Dec. 2024 at the Gold Zanzibar Resort and I found paradise in there. There staff were friendly, knowledgeable, super caring, attentive to your needs and entertaining. Food menu variety was exceptional and you can tell that the General Manager took great care to craft it with his team and that from taste to presentation went beyond your expectations. The set ups for the honeymooners or guests at the beach are unique. Another Plus Point is that there were many activities to choose from and the property was in great condition seeing it is not a new hotel. Bathroom amenities are topnotch quality. As a hotelier I say this is worth the money. In the end, time flew by too quickly because I truly had a fantastic time. Thank you Gold Zanzibar
