The hotel is in the middle of Kassel (Köningsplatz) and 10 minutes walk to the Documenta fifteen centre ruruHaus , Fridericianum museum and Documenta halle. Trams and busses nearby to all places. Friendly personal. The breakfast room was large and the breakfast buffet was very well a good start for exploring Kassel with all sort of bread, serials, fruit, drinks, coffee and sprudel wasser. My room was in the new part of the hotel. It had everything one can expect and – as an elderly person – i liked to have a shower. So that I do not have to climb into a bath to take a shower. I liked it also very much that I could dim the lights in the room and bathroom. And also that I could open the doors to the French balcony to let the fresh air in. I stayed in one of the suites on June 5th through 7th. Sadly the room was not ready by the time of arrival, not at 3pm and only around 4 pm did I gain access. After a long day on the road that is not what one was hoping for and the silly excuses or the complementary drink did not help one bit. The hotel is a wonderfully restored old Burg with interesting art and furniture which makes for an eclectic, but winning mix. There is an impressive looking old style restaurant, an attraktive center bar with neat sitting and an open fire place and a spacious outdoor terrace. Some parking is in front of the door. The suite was carefully restored leaving many of the beautiful original elements with touches of the new. However when entering there was sweltering heat and a strong smell of sewage permeating through all the rooms. The first flaw, no air conditioning. If the heat is unbearable on a June day what about the middle of the summer? That puzzled me. The smell originated probably from the free standing bathtub trap which, rarely used, most likely did not seal properly. The sink in the bathroom although stylish was impractical as there literally was no space to put anything needed down. One had to spread out the toiletries all over the bathroom. Very inconvenient. Other than that shower and furnishings were of good quality and gave the suite a nice appearance. The bedroom was in style and bed and mattress were conducive to a good night sleep (thankfully the heat dissipated with an open window but in exchange allowed for street noise). The complementary breakfast was generous and offered many choices. The staff in general proved competent and pleasant. Over all this could have been a wonderful experience if the a/c, smell and room readyness would be improved

Nice hotel beautifully located on a hill close to the Wilhelmshöhe Palace. The hotel has several wings where are the hotel rooms. From the hotel there’s a wonderful view over Kassel. The restaurant offers a good selection of foods, and has a extensive lunch buffet. In front of the hotel is a spacious terrace area where they serve foods and drinks. The hotel has its own Biergarten. The spa area is very nice and has a small pool, sauna and steam bath.

The hotel was very well located, easy to find, great well-eclaired parking, pleasant staff, the bar and restaurant very practical and well decorated, the hotel was clean, quiet, good littery, the very pleasant room, the breakfast well organized in the morning

Lots of reviews regarding bad cleaning. We got a room that hadn't been cleaned at all. The receptionist was very nice and gave us an ”upgrade” (pretty much the same room, on a higher floor). The new room had old soap residues on the wall and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. Cleaning sucks. The service is good and staff is very nice. They always greet you and are very sweet and helpful. We came after the kitchen had closed, but still got to order food.

We had booked a suite and a room and wanted to have a bed for the baby, guess in which accommodation we found the small bed? In the double room, of course, despite the huge surface available in the suite; this is not invented. We had booked a night to be stayed and fed after 500 km of motorway. The guardian actively welcomed this evening then told us that the rest was closed and there were different hostels nearby. The hotel was very comfortable and was very comfortable. This hotel complex is in fact a spatial campus in the neobauhaus architecture of 2018: the spatial rooms with the dominant grey, white and brown are very well equipped but the minibar is absent and mineral water will be bored. In sum, the hotel was empty and the Kochwerk restaurant also, because there was no enough clients mentioned elsewhere during the booking but on the notice you receive at the hostel. Ein Familienwochenende in einem sehr schönen Hotel. Das Hotel liegt etwa 20 Minunten zu Fuß von der Innenstadt / Fußgängerzone entfernt. Das Gebäude ist erkennbar ein Neubau, mit allen damit verbundenen guten Materialien und Ausführungen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, genauso wie das Bad, in dem allerdings -wie heute fast überall- mehr Wandhaken günstig wären. Der Frühstücksbereich ist sehr geschmacksvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Allerdings wird sehr viel in kleinen Einmalverpackung am Buffet angeboten, was aktuell äußerst negativ auffällt. Im Restaurant kann man abends gut und nicht überteuert essen. An den sehr großzügigen Außenbereich, der allerdings in den benachbarten Parkplatz eines Einkaufsmarktes übergeht, grenzt ein abgezäunter Kinderspielplatz an. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The hotel is located in a residential area on the edge of the old town. With the bike hard, with the e-bike no problem. Bikes can be well placed in a closed garage. We have stayed in a “comfort double room”. Remembered a little of the 1980s, but was large enough and quite clean. Also the bathroom has the 1980s Flair. But here too: quite large and quite clean. Matraces were relatively new, though somewhat soft, but everybody there has his own preferences. We have very well sleeped. Business rooms are probably renovated, matching the taste of time, but are also a little more expensive. Breakfast is charged with €8.90 extra, but its money is worth it. It is always fresh. Salmon and sects are not available for the money, of course. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but it continues to work with a Balkan restaurant a few streets. We haven't eaten so well “Yugoslav”. Cold drinks are available at the machine around the hour. The staff are very friendly and premature. In general, the hotel seems to be used by business and travellers, but it does not have a negative impact. The direct booking was cheaper than through the relevant booking portals. Weekend is cheaper than weekend. If you look for a reasonable accommodation at the Fuldaradway at a real price, we can recommend this hotel with good conscience.
