I have enjoyed my 2 days-stay in Hotel Jampa. The room was neat, the bathroom was clean and they have good breakfast. It’s location in thamel is good but a little bit hidden. The staff were very kind and willing to help me during my stay.
Overall, I recommend staying there and would like to stay there again in my next visit to Kathmandu.

Perfect hotel in Kathmandu! Clean, great service, bright and nice room, warm shower with toiletries and clean towels. The restaurant downstairs serves very nice food like fish sadheko (nepalese sauce) and plain lassi. If u chose breakfast option, it’s buffet with an egg station. 5min walk to Thamel centre and the coffee stall just below serves really good coffee. Just nearby is a Mountain Tea shop (turn left on main street) that sells masala tea at a good price (100g NPR200 while other shops sell NPR400) - u can try asking for even better price. My friend moved over from a hostel she booked after hearing my experience!

All the staff are very friendly, like family. The airport pick-up is responsible. But the car has no air conditioning. It's a bit too much for this day. The room is clean. However, there are frequent power outages, and you have to unplug the card to restart. I woke up once in the middle of the night because of the heat. The breakfast is packed and the service is good. It is convenient to eat and drink around. High cost performance.

It's a small hotel squeezed into a small alley. It's a decent hotel with all the facilities you need. It's not expensive. The surrounding area is very lively and it's convenient to travel. It's within walking distance to Durbar Square. The service staff at the front desk were smiling and quite friendly. As for the room cleaning, we stayed for two days, and the bath towels were not changed on the second day, and the small bottles of purified water were not placed, especially for the breakfast buffet. The room was clean and had a shower booth, so I was able to spend a comfortable time.

First-rate hotel right in the heart of Thamel. So glad I believed the reviews and was not disappointed. Complimentary airport pickup or drop off. Efficient check in and fantastic English-speaking staff. Total gem for Kathmandu. Very comfortable rooms. Great shower. Fantastic night's sleep and lots of restaurants nearby. There is a hotel bar/restaurant but I didn't eat there. Only weird thing for me is this horrible trend in hotel room design of a glass-enclosed or glass-partitioned bathroom. Why? If someone goes in to use the shower or toilet and has a light on in the bathroom, it lights up the rest of the room. I really enjoyed my stay here and regret that I was in the hotel for only about 15 hours. Can thoroughly recommend.
