Excellent hotel in the heart of Thamel. Walking distance to Durbar Square and some great restaurants and bars. Spacious, clean rooms and a good breakfast. There’s a nice bar in the lobby and a swimming pool and gym on the top floor.

Hotel doesn’t provide cr. facilities, in pre- payment, Immediately after your room service, it comes with the bills!

Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

We had also booked a car to go to Nagarkot to watch the sunrise in the morning. We departed from the hotel at 5 am and arrived at the viewing platform at 6:10 am.
