Kathmandu Hotels with Airport pickup service

I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future. I lived my life in Canada, USA and Australia. Travelling is my passion. I have been to Nepal several times and visited besides Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Nepalgunj, Surkhet, Dullu etc and obviously have stayed at multiple hotels. In Thamel Kathmandu I have stayed in few very hotels but Hotel Osho is where I felt at home. This is my come back to this hotel for good reasons which is hard to find in Thamel. The location is the best and closest to everything in a quiet street. The hotel is very clean with helpful friendly staff. House keeping is excellent. Perfect terrace to relax comparing to many other hotels. Warm heated reception with first class facilities. Please contact Bishnu and he resembles his given name lord Vishnu, he solves all your problems. A friendliest hotel client representative I have ever met in Nepal. He was so open with pricing and kept his words with no strings attached etc eg tax .He even bought a digital scale to weigh my luggage. The facility does not have a lift service but the staff takes care of the luggage. I strongly advise that don’t waste your time searching just book Osho and try try believe me you will not regret. For sure I will return again as it is my second home when I am in Kathmandu, for this stay of 5 weeks still feels short.

One of the best hotel that i have stayed in past 6 moth travel around Asia . Hotel is centrally located, Mostly UNESCO world heritage sites are with the walking distance . Great Garden view from the room . Staff are friendly and Helpful. Neat and clean room . The hotel serves Breakfast at terrace which were great .

This is the last hotel I stayed during my first business trip in Nepal. It is clean and service very nice, the room is well cleaned and towels and bathroom vs beds blankets all are highly standard clean . I feel comfortable here and happy . 13th floor have a nice place to have dinner . Happy to eat food of China type . Fruits are good and fresh . Top floor 15th also beautiful scenery. Very deserve to come and highly recommended. I admire the manager Shristi Manandhar, she is really an amazing manger for the hotel. We like her. Care about customer feeling and focus on improving hotel experience. Good job

It is such great experience staying jn Kathmandu Great hotel. It is very clean, quiet. All the staff are very friendly, espcially Shiva. Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone staying in Thamel, Kathmandu.

Ich durfte insgesamt10 Tage im Mila Hotel verbringen, und meine Erwartungen wurden bei Weitem übertroffen. Das Personal zeigte nicht nur eine hohe Professionalität, sondern war auch außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr hilfreich bei allen Anliegen. Mein Zimmer fühlte sich wie ein echtes Zuhause fernab von Zuhause an. Die geschmackvolle und komfortable Einrichtung, die makellose Sauberkeit und die modernen Annehmlichkeiten schufen eine Atmosphäre des Wohlfühlens und Komforts. Der atemberaubende Ausblick aus meinem Fenster über die Dächer von Kathmandu zum Monkey Tempel trug dazu bei, dass mein Aufenthalt noch unvergesslicher wurde. Die 4-Sterne-Kategorisierung des Hotels entspricht hohem europäischen Standard, und die Ausstattung mit Minibar, Safe, schnellem und funktionierendem WLAN sowie kostenlosem Wasser unterstreicht dies. Sehr sauberes Bad mit heißer Dusche, ausreichend Handtücher, Toilettenpapier, Seife und Duschgel. Sehr gründliche Zimmerreingung bei der auch die aufgebrauchten Badartikel wieder aufgefüllt wurden. Mein Koffer wurde während meiner Touren in Nepal kostenlos und sicher aufbewahrt. Das kulinarische Angebot im hoteleigenen Restaurant verdient besondere Anerkennung. Die Vielfalt und Qualität der Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet. Der Hygienestandard im Hotel, insbesondere beim Essen, ist sehr hoch, und man kann bedenkenlos und unbesorgt speisen. Jeden Tag habe ich mein Frühstück im Restaurant eingenommen und mein Abendessen mit einem unvergesslichen Ausblick auf Kathmandu von der Dachterrasse genossen. Selbst wenn kein Personal auf der Dachterrasse präsent war, konnte man von dort problemlos telefonisch bestellen. Vielen lieben Dank an die Mitarbeiter der Rezeption, Bar und Restaurant für den perfekten und herzlichen Service und die unterhaltsamen und hilfreichen Gespräche. Trotz der zentralen Lage war es im Hotel sehr ruhig, da es sich in einer ruhigen und sicheren Seitenstraße befindet. Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Durbar Square (10 Min.), Swayambhu Stupa/Monkey Temple (30 Min.) und Thamel (5 Min.) waren gut zu Fuß vom Hotel erreichbar. Wenn ein Taxi benötigt wurde, organisierte das Hotel dies sehr kostengünstig über Uber, womit das lästige feilschen mit den Taxifahrern entfiel. Ich werde zweifellos wiederkommen, wenn ich das nächste Mal in Kathmandu bin.

Wonderful experience, great location and professional staff The Magnificent Hotel is an outstanding value for money. It is in great location, within walking distance of Asan Bazar, Durbar Square and the lively streets in the Thamel district. The hotel is on a safe street with restaurants, grocery store and even security agents. The hotel is clean and in good condition. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is comfortable, relaxing and breezing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All communication for reservations or special request was perfect. However, what truly made the difference was the professional and caring staff. All were helpful, spoke multiple languages and proactive in providing help. One example is Kritika, who was absolutely exceptional, with a consistent positive attitude. She helped to explain the local riding sharing App inDrive. She helped me with the local cellphone provider Ncell. Help arranged laundry service and other useful information. Also Rajesh, the bar man was helpful to suggest local dishes. More importantly he was kind and interesting to discuss with. Finally, Ganga the manager was absolutely exceptional to ensure all was well organized and inspiring his staff. I had the occasion to speak with him many times and it was very enjoyable. We stayed in a Deluxe Family Suite room with two separate rooms, good air conditioning and shower and comfortable bed. Highly recommended

It was very cheap, even though it was located right next to the airport. I checked in at around 5am because my flight was delayed, but they accommodated me. For breakfast, I ordered whatever I wanted from the menu, and the milk tea was delicious. There were many staff members, and they were very polite. During the day, a rustic view spreads out before me. The cleaning staff cleaned the floors and other areas very well. I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me, and it was a reasonable price. The security guard was also kind, helping me carry my luggage.
