Diogenis Blue Palace

We are staying in the hotel for 5 days. My experience with the hotel is very positive. There is a great and especially helpful staff. The head of the ILLIAS restaurant is a very friendly person and you can arrange an ala carte dinner with him. We had an all inclusive meal. The food was varied, we had something to choose from every day. There was always pasta, chicken and pork to choose from, amazing Greek salads and, of course, delicious cakes. The hotel has a swimming pool with clean water. The manager of the hotel is the Czech Lucia, who is very helpful and equally willing. We were here in September from 11.9.2024 to 25.9.2024. So far the weather is fine, but the waves are constantly in the sea and the wind does not stop either. I don't know how lento in another term, but I think it's similar. If you don't like wind and waves in the sea, this is not the destination for you. I recommend the hotel to everyone, we feel very comfortable here. I recommend this hotel.

We are here for two weeks (go home in 3 days). Can’t thank the staff enough. They are all wonderful. Chef Ilias is amazing and the food is excellent. There’s always plenty of choice and it’s very well cooked. We love the barman Beni, he’s so good with our girls. The staff on reception couldn’t do enough to help us too. Our room is on the sea front with gorgeous views and excellent shower! Thankyou to everyone at the hotel, you made our holiday

We loved our stay in Diogenis Blue Palace as a family of 3, staff helpful and very pleasant, best manager/supervisor Illias made our stay very fun, while we stayed around restaurant and bar area. Private beach well equipped with umbrellas and chairs. I can recommend.

We visited this hotel on 28/8/24 for a week . This is a totally honest review , we arrived very late to hotel . Lovely lady at reception, the checking in process was great. Took us to our room , came down they’d saved food for us . I thought this was a lovely thing to do . Family room big nice space . It was clean , however lights not working , where the bed was up the stairs the stair rail safety rail wobbled quite alot . And the door to hotel room frame moved . It was okay but it’s not 4 star . Food , was not good. Lots chicken lots pork . No real fish which I found odd being next to the sea . But food in itself just was not nice , and being truly honest was worst I’ve ever experienced on any holiday , I’ve had . The bar the list was terrible . You are only allowed on all inclusive Beer , red and white wine (that was awful) Ouzo , raki , brandy . Soft drinks tea coffee slush hot choc . You are not aloud any rum , vodka , gin , cocktail on the all inclusive. Again this was worse drinks list I’ve ever had in all inclusive. I’m not looking for branded rum etc but no house , vodka , gin , rum . Even that’s poor . And you have pay 4 euro for house rum etc that you’d get free else where . However bar staff great the main man lovely . Staff the lady we had when check in lovely , there was nice lady who helped with water park . Couple others seemed be more friendly and helpful to other nationalities. Like when checking out we was told leave bags on stairs well . While others got put into locked room . All nationalities should be given the same level of service. We are all paying guests . The pool is okay my children did get grazes on there legs from missing tiles . But it wasn’t massive grip . This happens , tiles round pool are not slip resistant. And falling over slipping was a problem. There is no entertainment in day for kids , there nothing most evenings . We had the same singer come on the Saturday and then on the Tuesday. That was the only entertainment. It’s not great for children . Toilets only 1 ladies 1 gents . Not ideal and not clean . Having to buy food and drink from next door supermarket, that I was then told hotel owns isn’t right . I don’t expect the earth food wise or drink but this was very below standard . It’s really not a 4 star hotel I don’t mind paying tourist taxes . But paying 49 euros is a lot when hotel not 4 star , food is bad ,that you are having buy that drink across week see you through. I really don’t rate this hotel for a family holiday . There is not a lot for children . If going as a couple older , yes it’s okay but not as all inclusive. Self catering and the hotel needs loose a star .
