Three Explorers Motel Reviews

This motel is impressed, it’s just few minutes to three sisters stone, in-room large fridge and microwave oven. The room is clean too. The ventilation in washroom can be improved.

Air conditioning is very noisy.

In the Blue Mountains Park, close to the Three Sisters, 200 meters away, I lamented that it is so cost-effective to live in a national park in Australia. The motel has basic facilities and conditions, which is quite good👍

It is very close to Blue Mountain Park. If you go to Blue Mountain Park, you can walk to it. I woke up early in the morning and saw the sea of ​​clouds at the Three Sisters Peak.

Friendly staff, quick check-in, rich breakfast, convenient transportation, beautiful scenery, supermarkets and cafes nearby. Restaurants have everything you need. Although the room is not big, it is just right for workers who only stay for one night.

The room was nice and well laid out. It was very clean and was wonderfully preheated. Even though we arrived before reception closed, the reception was unmanned and the conversation via a communication button was very unfriendly. When a piercing, loud continuous whistle flooded the entire hotel at night for about 2 1/2 hours, a solution to this very unfriendly problem was refused despite repeated contact using this button. As I said, the room was nice, but the way we dealt with guests was impossible. Therefore we would not stay there again.

One side of the bed is broken and collapsed, making it impossible to lie down.

Good location, convenient

Lovely spacious family room ideal for 3 friends. Picturesque area and frontage. Ideally situated for the hop on hop off bus and chocolate factory. We extended our 2 night stay to 3 nights and would definitely book again

Very clean could have had some bowls and a bit more knives and forks but would stay there again great location,

Have stayed at the 3 Explorers on numerous occasions in the past and always been happy with the way it is presented always clean and comfortable.

My stay met my expectations. Room had all the essentials and the bed was comfortable. I choose the hotel for its price and location very close to Echo Point. Its an older hotel, which means some allowance is needed for this.

V comfy, spacious & clean room. Location is quiet & a short walk from Echo Point & the Three Sisters, with a bus stop only 1 min away which takes you right into Katoomba town shops & the train station. Excellent restaurants & cafes on the main street in Katoomba with a wide variety of food.
