Just a one-night stay on my 2nd visit to Kaunas. A very friendly welcome at the reception. Our rooms were ready early! A traditional and quite large hotel. A good-sized room with a comfortable bed. The hotel is in a great location. Very central. Close to the sights, the restaurants and the bars. The old town is quite a walk, but less than £3 in UK money for a taxi there. The hotel is very reasonably priced and I would be happy to stay there again.

Stayed in this hotel for4 nights in April 2023 and ordered 2 rooms. The location of this hotel is excellent! on the main street where lot of coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shops and it is only a ten minute walk to the old town. The clean rooms were modern and spacious and had all the amenities we required and are quieter. Our rooms (208 & 209) were two stairs that divided between the bathroom and the living room, at night no backlight for the stairs and it is dangerous in the dark. This is why these rooms are not suitable for disabled people. We had breakfast included in our rate - was ok. However, breakfast area was very dated . We definitely recommend this hotel if you were planning to stay in Kaunas.

I was not that happy about going here. But I had booked the stay awhile ago and also my flight. I had read the reviews and I was kind of not feeling safe. But no worries Mate as the aussies say😊 The staff are so kind and polite. The guy who checked me in was very aware of not mentioning my room number in front of other guests. By the way the hotel is just around the corner from the bus stop. Bus number 29G takes you directly to the city center. The fare is 1 euro. The hotel is very cosy with a good vibe and nice Music. There are many places to sit and relax. Or have a chat with other guests. As I am very introvert I don’t use the area but I’m in my room or out and explore the city. The hotel offers a complimentary cocktail but again being introvert I had to pass. The room is very nice. I have enough hangers and there is a foldaway stand for your bag/suitcase. I also brought some extra hooks as I have stayed in a Moxy hotel in Edinburgh and knew it could come in handy. I don’t find the rooms small. I love the space, the decor and the fact that the window opens up. The bed is a bit hard - no top mattress but ok. The hotel offers a breakfastbuffet at 15 Euro. I go to the bakery for bread, danish and coffee and then to the park. I am staying here for 5 nights and so far I love it. I will highly recommend the hotel. No problems at all.

Very good hotel is very new and much bigger than expected. I checked in early on Christmas and I was worried that I would not be able to check in. I emailed the hotel and told me that I can check in 24 hours. The attitude of the staff is also super good Ačiu! :)

Staff was welcoming, kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean, so was the bathroom. Hotel is very close (walking distance) to the old town and the historic centre. Free parking was a great amenity. Rooms are a bit outdated and could use a renovation. Toiletries should be refreshed daily. Breakfast was nice, but could have more choices.

I stayed at a hotel for one night, in one of their suites, a night before my wedding.I would say, the hotel still needs to do a bit more work to justify that 4 star description. Positives: - comfortable bed, can’t complain, had a great night’s sleep! - AC - spacious room - spacious bathroom - great location Negatives: - security concerns. You need to input a code to open the door, which is great, except… the door during the day is not locked, and the door next to the entrance is open during the day as well (as it leads to the little cafe) so pretty much anyone could access the hotel during the day. - the breakfast was very underwhelming. Not much choice, the girl working there looked very bored and to be honest it was hard to find something filling to eat. The cheese, the meat, everything was not as you would expect at a 4 star hotel. And I am not a choosy person foodwise. - the carpet in the room needs some serious cleaning. When we were taking pictures, literally had to make sure the carpet doesn’t make an appearance :D - the jacuzzi tub works but like… it splashes so much! - and parking well… there is not much of it, but not really the hotel’s fault. All in all, extra attention to detail and the stay at the hotel would be 👌

I chose this hotel mostly because it was close to Rotuses Aikste, the main square of the old town. The price was more than acceptable (60 euros including breakfast). I was more than pleased with my decision, because: * It is probably 1 minute walk to the main square, but on a small quiet street. * The room was simple, but clean and nice * I liked the modern Scandinavian design of the place * The breakfast, although simple, was delicious. * I woke up to an amazing view of a church in the courtyard ( see photo)

GGuest UserThe hotel is very nice. It's nothing special, but it's a very good place to stay. The bed is very comfortable, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help with special requests. One the best things about it is its location: just outside of the old town on Laisves, a pedestrian street. There are plenty of restaurants around, coffee houses, and even a small grocery store. So if you want to stay in Kaunas, this is the place I can recommend highly. I have only one small complaint: the breakfast isn't all that good. There's plenty to eat, so that is not the problem. But what there was just didn't seem to be particularly good quality. I have stayed in three other hotels while I've been in Lithuania, plus one in Latvia. The breakfast in each place was fantastic. I can't say that about this one, but that's no reason not to stay here. As I said, you will have enough to eat and you'll probably be satisfied. So stay here. It's well worth it .

AAlon LekerIn fact, this is an autonomous hotel, after booking and payment, you have to send a copy of your passport by email/wotzapp and you will get the homephone code, instructions how to enter. Then you have to dial a number from the phone and the most important thing is to understand how it opens because only a clicking can be heard. My door opened inside after the third attempt. In the room everything is clean, good. Very pleased with a normal hammer coffee for people. The only disadvantage is a broken tap, unclean top shower and a lot of dust on the fan. The terrace is very beautiful, though, in the rest of it is a solid four!

XXuLuck is very good, just happened to meet Kaunas 611 birthday, there are exclusive activities, too lively, I feel that people from half a city have gone to the old city. The hotel is very good, but we drove the bus to Riga at 5 o'clock the next morning and didn't enjoy the breakfast!

GGuest UserFriendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast, centrally located near bus and train stations. Quiet and safe streets. Some would probably prefer an open bar or late night restaurant near by, but if you survive the city (the few restaurants and bars) nearby closing at around 22, and you’re in it for a good nights sleep, Ibis Kaunas is really good value for money.

GGuest UserMaybe this hotel used to be a 4 star hotel with the previous owner. I Think the number of stars should be reconsidered. We stayed in a suite. The room it self is Nice. It is in 2 levels with the sleeping area on the top. But the funiture and style is outdated and cheap. The room was clean. Be aware, that you Will find : No breakfast No restaurant No sauna No spa No modern training hall It displayes a little bit different on the homepage......but during out stay it was ” out of order”....! So, in this 4 star hotel, the only Thing you Will find, is a room with a bed. You Will have a short walk to the main shopping street and the shopping center Akropolis.
