Dormy Inn Kawasaki Natural Hot Spring Reviews

Even though it is a three stars hotel but I felt that it has way exceeded my expectations. I was afraid that the public facilities such as the onsen and eating area will not be maintained well but they were really clean. Nothing to complain about the room, it looks new and tidy. Other than the perks of having late night snacks, there are also reading corners, massage chairs and laundry (+dryer) machines. It is worth to at least try the breakfast for one day, the spread was extensive! Location wise, it is really convenient. It's just a few mins walk to the main streets and there is a direct train station to Haneda Airport.

Excellent stay and very convenient location just 30 minutes from Haneda Airport by train and foot. Dormy in is my favorite brand of hotels in Japan, offering free popsicle, probiotics and evening noodles . Onsen is great and in Kawasaki the rooftop has a gorgeous view of Fuji mountain. Fantastic deal for short stay.

Fantastic location! Excellent osen facility! Delicious breakfast! Hotel is closed by the station with huge shopping area & all different kind of dishes! It is a place that is interesting to explore! The service is great! Fast check in & out!

Highlights - hot spring is clean and tidy. Late check out fees is 1000yen per hour. Reception told me on the phone at 11:25 that my check out time was 11am. I thought it's later than 11am and he asked what time I want to check out. I said 1pm. He said it's extra 1000 yen and I said ok. I didn't want to argue and maybe he said the check out time yesterday night and I just missed it. But then 7 minutes later they called me again and said it's 1000 per hour not total. Immediately I felt irritated about how they changed the price and I said it wasn't fair. They just kept saying sorry but it is 1000 per hour. Just like a recording machine. At one point I was like “let's just hang up because you are wasting me like 10 minutes and I'll come down and check out at 12”. That's what I did. I was not going to pay more than 1000 no matter what. The receptionist should have taken the responsibility of saying the wrong price, or at least they should find a way to make this more pleasant.

Great stay and good use of the hot springs. We got everything we expected: clean room, attentive staffs, and rich breakfast buffet. Free ice cream/probiotic drink on the 15th floor and free nightly ramen noodle soup on the 2nd floor were bonuses! The hotel is newer and modern with great soundproof. The hot springs section for men was always busy, and the women's only had a few people at a time. The top floor (15th) has the hot springs, vending machines, reading tables with huge window, book shelves with lots of manga, three individual rooms with massage chairs, and a roof terrace with city view. The breakfast buffet consisted of majority of Japanese style food, which was what I wanted. The food was fresh and tasted just right, and the deep fried food was hot and crispy. It was the best breakfast buffet I have ever had in this trip!

What a pleasant surprise to stay at Dormy Inn! It's clean, comfortable, nice location, best of all, I got to do my laundry (washing free, 100 yen for 20mins drying) what a deal. While waiting for the laundry, there is a library with massage chairs! The hot spring onsen was clean and nice. The breakfast was good choices of mostly Japanese flavors. Location was good for me. I want somewhere near public transit but not too close to super busy area. Walking about 8 mins will take you to most of the busy area. I think this area is mostly for guy though as there are mainly girl's bars... also, the area has lots of ******** slot machines. Taking the train to the Haneda airport was a breeze. Overall really enjoyed my stay. The room could be a little small for 2 persons just keep that in mind if traveling as a couple. Happy traveling!

A 5 to 8 minutes walk from the train station. Many restaurant along the way to the hotel. Convenience store is just next to the hotel.

Good location. Hotel is about 800 m from Kawasaki station East Exit. Staffs are very friendly, courteous and helpful. Hotel is clean and comfortable. The natural hot spring is good and is open from 5am to 1am the next day. Hotel provide free supper noodle up to 9 pm. Hotel also has complimentary ice cream, Yakut & hot coffee during the various period. There is a welcome gift given to new guest. Complimentary massage chairs are available. This hotel is recommended for staying.

The location of the hotel is really good, its near HND airport and in between Yokohama and Tokyo giving you access to 2 prime locations. Hotel is clean and amenities provided are good. Hot spring is also very large. The only improvement they could do is the service in terms of guest relations. I arrived early at around 2pm ( check in time was 3pm ) and was told to wait to be able to check in and when rooms are available to check in I was not informed so I was just left there and waited like a fool. The front desk could have just told me rooms were available and I could have checked in. Wasted almost 30 minutes waiting.

This hotel is tidy and clean, with nice black onsen. The front desk staff are extremely helpful too, will definitely recommend to others.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the onsen and breakfast. Rooms was reasonable size.

This hotel is located at a location away from the station. However the public bath is excellent and we can enjoy massage and free ice cream
