Driving across country with my son, we stayed at three different Hampstead Inns. Each were different. Hampton Inn in Kearney was the best one and I was happy with it. What I care about is how well one can sleep. Noise from inside the room was from the air conditioner, but was not too bad. The exhaust fan in the bathroom and the refrigerator were very quiet. There was no noise from the inside of the hotel (outside of the room). The blackout current worked very well. The other two hotels had black out curtains that weren’t big enough to do a good job. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. The staff were all competent and friendly. The parking lot had good lighting so we didn’t worry about our very full car being broken into. I would recommend staying here.
