3-Star Hotels in Keflavik

Very close to airport for catching early flight. 3 mins walk from hotel to terminal. Room is big enough for a family of four. Nice breakfast and many choices of delicious foods.

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

Nicely surprised at this small gem. It is renovated but not “new” so I was originally a bit disappointed upon entering the small lobby but I quickly fell in love. Very nice staff and cute room. Loved the location in a nice harbor town very close to airport . Best part is the unexpectedly GREAT restaurant in the hotel with fantastic views of the harbor. Best grilled lamb and seafood we ate in Iceland!

Room hygiene is OK, domestic quality, breakfast is average, there are few things, but tea, coffee and hot water are available all day, which is still very convenient. The location is 6 kilometers away from the airport and 20 kilometers away from the blue lake, which is very convenient After traveling around the island, take a break and leave by plane. When the hotel goes out, turn right and there is a Thai meal, which makes it more comfortable to eat. The room is not big, and the water for bathing and showering is relatively large. Easy parking. The hotel can sign up for various tourism projects and signed up for the Aurora Group. I was very lucky to see the 8-level Aurora, a small group, and a full-size SUV to pick up and drop off the store, which is very convenient and comfortable.

My second stay at this hotel near Keflavík Airport. A great place for the price and just 15 minutes from the airport entrance.  The hotel is on an old air force base on the back side of the KEF airport.  It features a couple of really nice common spaces to relax, especially after a weeks long campervan trip. It is very much a converted military barracks but don't let that discourage you. It's actually nice.   The rooms are basic but provide a nice shower/tub and large closet. Adjustable heaters in the bathroom and main room.  The staff is always great. Since my flight was super early they packed a breakfast to go for my 4am departure: How top notch is that? The hotel does offer breakfast and small snacks for sale. There are two restaurants in walking distance if you want lunch or dinner that are good.  

It's a beautiful furnished place, not very nice outdoor, it's not a hotel so it has no reception but inside I found everything I needed. I read a very large clean and straight bed, which is not easy to find in Iceland there is a sofa and a bed. Spacious bathroom breakfast already present in the room, not comparable to one of the hotel just prepared is varied

What a great way to end our two week trip. An overnight layover in Iceland and this is the perfect place to stay for Iceland hospitality. Andy picked us up at the airport and gave us a a full tour of the 1x6. Funny guy! Quirky place with just the right amount of quirky. Bed is comfortable, pleasant surprise of homemade chocolate and a bottle of water on our door at bedtime, Andy (Comedian, hotelier, barista and chauffeur) made us espresso in the morning and got us on the final leg of our trip. Close to Keflavik Airport but a world away. Oh, and don’t miss the “blue lagoon “ just in the courtyard.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport. We had a late flight and contactless checkin was very nice. The room was bare bones and the bed wasn’t comfortable. My biggest concern was the temperature in the shower. It was SCALDING. I can’t imagine anyone could actually stand under it and it didn’t change no matter which way you turned the handle. If I was coming to Iceland again under the same circumstances, I would suck it up and get a more expensive hotel.

Originally, I only switched to Iceland in order to catch up with the storm and cancel the flight. People at the airport queued at the airport counter to book the hotel. I feel that if I go down this way, I am afraid I have to play at the airport. So decisively on the Ctrip query, watching the surrounding areas of the airport less and less, I almost did not seriously compare, set the four-bed family suite in seconds. When the taxi came to me in the middle of the night, my heart was still very embarrassing, and I felt that I was driving to a remote village. The morning storm stopped, the curtains were opened, and the coast dam was actually seen. There is no breakfast in the hotel, but the room has a simple kitchen, microwave, refrigerator, kettle, tableware. I walked in less than ten minutes and there is a 24-hour small supermarket, buy some milk, bread, cheese, ham, plus a travel companion. Instant noodles, children can eat very well! Did not drive, so did not ask the waiter whether there is a parking lot. I like the public leisure area here, the high frosted transparent roof, very bright! Not far from the airport, it is very comfortable to stay temporarily.

Just 5 minutes’ drive from Keflavik International Airport, this guest house is a 2-minute walk from the main street, Hafnargata. WiFi and on-site private parking are free for guests. Modern furnishings and contemporary décor are featured in each A. Bernhard Bed and Breakfast guest room. Some also include a seating area and tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom facilities are shared or private. A communal seating area is available for A. Bernhard guests, as well as a furnished garden with BBQ equipment. The Blue Lagoon is 22 km away, while central Reykjavik is 43 km from the B&B. Vatnaveröld Water Park is a 4-minute walk away.
