The pool is tiny unlike the pictures. There were not enough towels in the room (said they would send up and never did) and amenities like shampoo were minuscule. Then we could not get into our room due to low battery. We waited in the hallway for 10 minutes after the front desk cleared this up until a very nice maintenance man fixed it up. Breakfast is not included. The hook on the bathroom door was broken and hanging by a thread. The air conditioner blasts directly onto your bed. The bathroom is very very small. There’s no Kleenex and insufficient toilet paper. I don’t usually hate on places but for what we paid - exceeding even prices in CA - it was sad. Two stars for nice shuttle service and nice service at the bar. Do not stay here if you can help it.

The room was spacious and perfect for our little family get-away! Location is great! Staff were friendly and responsive. The pool and hot tub needed better up-keep but we were able to use it. Our room was recently remodeled with new bathroom tub, counters, etc. There was a new heat/air unit that also had a “dry” setting that worked really well to keep the room comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was clean and soft. We enjoyed our stay very much!

This hotel was a surprising all-around winner. I had interactions with three staff, and all of them were cheerful, friendly, polite, and helpful. The room was clean and well-supplied, the breakfast was ample, and the property is located near several good eating options. On the first floor, there is a family-friendly play area with two foosball tables and several tables scattered around for groups to hang out and play games. Helpfully, TRU provides a selection of board games and puzzles for groups to enjoy. Additionally, there is a fire-pit on site if people want to enjoy some time around a campfire outside. All in all, this hotel is a winner!

We stay in many Hilton properties as HH diamond members. This Hilton Garden Inn is one of the BEST we have found. Check-in was fast and flawless. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was attentive and helpful. The breakfast was excellent - fresh, tasty, plentiful and the service was great. We could not have asked for more. When I arrived to check in, I was told that my reservation had been changed to double Queen instead of the king suite I had wanted. The receptionist at the front was apologetic and offered a discount. I am rating this poor because I would have appreciated a phone call previous to this change. That would have given me the opportunity to cancel and find a different place. Also, when I asked to speak to the manager that told the receptionist to make the change, the manager didn’t work in the weekend. I took the discount and the room. Luckily, I am only spending one night. This is just a place to rest my head for tonight. I will remember this experience and not book a room through this hotel again. Obviously, reservations do not matter.

WWonder_GirlThis is beautiful Hotel located on beautiful location. Rooms are beautiful and walkable from the River, On the opposite street is a Grand Rapids one of the oldest building and it’s beautiful. There was a little miscommunication during our check-in. We were told that breakfast timing is from 7-10am but when we reached for breakfast at 9:10, they were already closing and cleaning restaurant. There were around 5-7 families who came after 9 for breakfast. But restaurant gave bread, fruits, butter, Jams, Coffee so we had breakfast. Other than everything was perfect.

GGuest UserMaking a short 4 day trip and found this Park and Fly, normally I don’t use this chain but the price was very reasonable. I read the reviews and wasn’t sure but after my stay I would definitely recommend this Econo Lodge. I was pleasantly surprise of the room size and layout with living area separate from bedroom, the staff was very accommodating, at check in I was given all the info needed and the shuttle drive/owner was also accommodating. Upon my return, the shuttle arrived within 12 minutes. For an older hotel it sounds like they are continually trying to improve. As for the breakfast, with the price of the room and the fact there is 38 breakfast restaurants close by I felt it was quite sufficient. I will DEFINITELY use this hotel again. JJustin82Been here on multiple occasions, there are plenty of reasons to choose this hotel if you don't want to overpay and still get a decent stay, rooms are basically what you would expect. And they are clean. Getting the room you would like is sometimes an issue if it's not the off season.

DDr CushHotel was good for going to a concert. Pool and hot tub had decent hours. Only complaint was not having coffee or towels re-stocked in the room. The walls were also a bit thin; could hear conversations in the hallway clearly and didn’t feel there was much privacy to be had in the bathroom

JJustin82Lots going on here. Strange setup in the room but not bad. Staff was helpful. Machines were not stocked and the ice machines broken. Overall would probably not frequent this one unless another trip changed my mind or the convenience due to location made it worth the stay. Definitely wouldn't say it's a bad place but there was a lot of questionable activity that even the young woman behind the desk had to keep getting involved in, which she did a very good job of while remaining very pleasant.
