Saravoan-Kep Hotel Reviews

This is our second time to stay at the hotel. The beach directly opposite makes for a lovely morning swim and the hotel is a short walk from the Ekareach bus stop in Kep if you are coming from phnom penh. Staff are friendly and their pool is clean and has a nice view.

Very cozy and comfortable room. Clean swimming pool and nice architecture design around the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Many street food and small cafes around the hotel. Beautiful open view on the sea from the window. Definitely will stay here once again.

Very good, sea view room, right outside the door is the beach, there is a bar downstairs, it is on the same street as the seaside, there is breakfast, Western breakfast, cost-effective, not bad, I will come again next time, stayed for two nights, there are more Western guests ,fine

Excellent hotel in a great location (the view from my balcony was astonishing) Really nice and friendly staff, the bar was very handy (and excellent mojitos!) breakfast and dinner good quality and a fair price. Will definitely come back.Really enjoyed it.

Beautiful boutique hotel located on the beach in Kep. Restaurant and bar and pool and moderate accommodation on three floors but the stairs are short and easy. Good wifi and good food. Exemplary GM and owner from New Zealand. Recommended for a really peaceful simple vacation.

We stayed 5 nights at this charming small hotel Good manager (Carolina) and excellent staff who were all very welcoming. Horn at front desk was a delight and told us everything we needed to know. Internet was superb and we use it a lot. Lovely swimming pool: VERY clean. Food in dining room was wonderful. LOVED our servers: David, Pheara and Mourn. Their service was great and we so enjoyed all of them. David's English was particularly excellent. We would go back again in a minute. Mr Phors on evenings was very good also at front desk. Amazing location near crab market. Laundry servive 2 minutes away (by walking) and beach one minute away by walking.

The hotel did not meet our expectations based on the reviews and pictures on Tripadvisor. The room (302) was shabby and poorly furnished. The bed sheets looked old and the one piece of wallpaper on the wall was torn (shabby chic - no, just shabby). The bathroom was dirty and, quite frankly, disgusting. The hotel had a nice view from the front, but outside in the evening, it was too noisy with Cambodian music blaring until 10 pm. The nearby places to eat were overpriced and had the same menu. $15 for rice with vegetables - a cartel is in operation. The hotel restaurant was cheaper, but we did not try it. Breakfast was disappointing and rude. We could only choose ONE item from the menu - I had a small omelette with two small pieces of bacon and a small piece of bread. When I wanted some granola with fruit, they said no - to my mind, that was ridiculous for the room price. They did not care about customer service. The only thing worth seeing near the hotel was the crab market, which was a short walk away. Disappointing experience.

What a great stay! Right on Kep beach, we arrived on a Saturday so the beachfront was full of families enjoying a picnic and day at the beach. Checked in, we had a room right next to the pool. The room itself was as per the online pictures and quite spacious.. The only down side was the harder mattress which are sometimes unavoidable in SE Asia. Given the water quality along the beach looked a bit hit and miss it was lovely to float around in the pool overlooking the to and fro below. The staff were really helpful, and the European manager has also taken a few steps to try and be more sustainable, such as water cooler near reception for water refills with a handy jug in your room, and the pool is salt water. No plastic straws or bottles in the restaurant. We ate lunch in the restaurant and it was very tasty and good quality, worth the cost which is about standard for Kep. Breakfast was also very good and selected off a menu. Delicious scrambled eggs and soft baguette. Would most definitely stay here again when visiting Kep.

Very charming hotel with fantastic sea och pool view, definitely worth to pay a little more. Beautiful flowers in the garden. The staff were very helpful and nice. You get the great view at the hotel restaurant as well.

Though it gets a lot of really good reviews, our stay was not what we were expecting especially considering the price we paid per night! The staff were great and the food was delicious but the room was terrible. The drapes have never been cleaned and are stained everywhere with who knows what. The wallpaper was torn in a number of places and the bathroom was not clean. Someone had thrown dental floss that stuck to the window and no one cleaned it up! To top it all off, there is absolutely no night life in Kep. The bar at this hotel closed at 9pm. We stayed for 4 very boring, long nights. I admit though that the seafood at the various restaurants is amazing. Next time we will stay in Kampot and eat in Kep!
