Very grand entrance with stunning views from the front lounge. Checking in process was quite personal with fresh homemade lemonade and fruits served, but took a little longer than expected as we just wanted to get to our room. Bottle of prosecco and baclava left in our room, nice! Large room and comfortable bed. Our fridge was not working, but within 10 minutes of our phonecall, a brand new one was installed, excellent customer service. Great variety of quality food for breakfast and dinner. Alot of steps down to the private beach, but definitely worth it, swimming in the sea felt like swimming in warm silk, so relaxing. Free shuttle bus to corfu town, but you have to reserve seats in advance. Overall, a most enjoyable stay and would recommend.

Hotel service is first class, although the location is a bit remote, the bus will be at the next stop at Guvia Station. After getting off, it takes six minutes to walk on the ramp. It is a bit inconvenient to have luggage, but the holiday is very good and the price is cheap. Include buffet breakfast and buffet dinner. Change some dishes every day and live comfortably There is a large pool If you go to the center of corfu and there is a bus stop in six minutes, you can stroll downtown Guvia after dinner in a few minutes. Blue Bus 15 travels from Kerkila Airport to downtown Kerkila. Bus No. 7 shuttles half an hour from downtown Kirchla to Guvira. The ticket price at the station is 1.5 Euro. You can buy more tickets to facilitate the journey to the city center. The ticket price on the Batu is more expensive, it seems to be 2.3 Euro. Take a taxi from the airport to the hotel about 20 to 25 euros.

Thirty years ago I had my first stay at the Arcadion. Walked up to the veranda from an early ferry arrival to see umbrella sheltered tables, had fresh coffee, rich yogurt with Greek honey and waited for my parents to join me. In the intervening years, this is the go-to hotel for my family. A decade ago I was so disappointed to arrive to see the first floor overtaken by a McDonald’s. Upon arrival this year, I was tearfully delighted to see the McDonald’s replaced by the Arcadion Bistro. Rooms have also been renovated but retain the charm I remember from long ago. Service is excellent, rooms are well appointed and this will always be where I stay in Corfu.

We booked this hotel with Jet 2, first time travelling with them, for 10 night half board.. We had read the reviews and seen photos and decided to book as prime location as we were hiring a car from the airport. We arrived 12:30am due to flight delay, main door was either locked, not working or very slow, had to negotiate luggage through the manual revolving door. Check in was swift, no offer of refreshments, no door man or night porter. Rom was spacious, plenty of hangers, shelving but no drawers for smaller items. We had two single beds pushed together, personally found the mattress too hard with the pillows running a close second. No tea /coffee making facilities. Bathroom in dire need of refit, significant limescale and rust on tiles and around fixtures, stained . broken, cracked grouting and bath seal. However, both the room and bathroom were clean. Pool area well maintained, plenty of comfortable loungers and a very vigilant life guard. Restaurant buffet breakfast, usual offerings, continental , cereals and cooked, hot drinks made to order, staff efficient and polite. We never ate any evening meals so can not comment. On our 6th night, we were woken by unbearable heat in the room, the air con stopped working, we then realised that we had a power cut, the power was back on within 30 minutes of my husband going to reception. Not a disaster but an inconvenience as we were relying on our phones for sat nav as the one in our hire car did not work and we had to wait for our phones to charge, wifi is slow. Our last night we were woken again by the sound of running water, there was a steady stream of water coming out of the spot light in the bathroom. Fully appreciate that there's no maintenance at 3.30 am , we were given extra towels to catch the water. We decided for safety's sake not to switch the lights on in the morning. Overall impression, a tired and very dated hotel that needs an upgrade. On a positive note, the views are stunning, especially sunrise and the location is spot on.

The hotel is not central to Corfu Town but you can get there in 20 minutes on foot. the hotel does not have its own beach but right in front of the hotel there is a descent to the sea where you can swim but it is not a real beach. A 3-minute walk away is the mon repose beach (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella 28 euros) it is a quiet beach equipped with bathroom, showers and bar. The hotel has very nice common areas but the rooms are tiny and badly maintained, we booked for 10 days and the room was so small that we didn't have room for our suitcases, I asked for a bigger room but they replied that they were all the same, I pointed out that they were completely different from the rooms advertised on the site and they replied that those were old photos. The non-existent cleaning, in 10 days they never swept or mopped the floor in the room, often even the bathroom was dirty after the daily cleaning. They often forgot to leave us shampoo and shower gel and towels on the last day so I had to call and ask to bring what was missing. In short, a constant stress. The curtains and bedspread were dirty and stained. Hygiene was also very poor, in the breakfast room pigeons were flying over the buffet and when I pointed out that it was a hygiene problem I was told that it was a problem they were trying to solve but hadn't managed to solve yet, to apologize that day they gave us free cappuccinos that we had ordered for breakfast and a bottle of wine in the room (cappuccinos and espresso coffee are considered extras and cost 3.80 euros ... per day ...) Given my complaints about poor services, non-existent cleaning and non-existent hygiene, they offered us a 15-minute foot massage at the hotel spa, a pity that they offered us this salty gift in the evening and on Monday we had to leave and for Sunday there were no seats… in short, a fool's errand! Upon arrival they did not offer us welcome champagne as they did with other guests. Luckily I speak English because no one speaks Italian (only one guy speaks Italian and he usually works the night shift and is very kind and helpful). The hotel does not have private parking but it is quite easy to park in the immediate vicinity. Overall the hotel is beautiful and in an excellent position and has all the credentials to be a truly 4-star hotel but they should be more respectful and attentive to the customer and improve hygiene and cleanliness

Το διαχρονικό αυτό ξενοδοχείο της Κέρκυρας (μη συγχέεται με το Corfu Palace) βρίσκεται έναντι αεροδρομίου με όμορφη θέα προς εκείνο και τη λιμνοθάλασσα από τη μια και προς τον κήπο από την πίσω μεριά. Είναι ιδανικό για παρέες/ οικογένειες ως τρία άτομα σε ένα δωμάτιο. Τα δωματια είναι σχετικά ευρύχωρα, κατακάθαρα, χωρίς όμως αναγκαία ηχομόνωση. Ο εξοπλισμός σε τηλεόραση, πρίζες είναι ξεπερασμένος. Το μπάνιο είναι καλό με ακαλαίσθητης πόρτες (χωρίς ηχομόνωση επίσης). Λείπει μαλακτικό μαλλιών αν και το νερό της Κέρκυρας θεωρείται σκληρό. Το πρωινό είναι καλό και ο υπεύθυνος στην είσοδο τυπικός Έλληνας του τουρισμού, φιλόξενος και φιλότιμος (παλαιός κοπής).Ωραίος εξωτερικός χώρος και κήπος σε συνέχεια με τον χώρο πρωινού. Ο κήπος γενικότερα θα μπορούσε να είναι και πιο φροντισμένος και η παιδική χαρά πιο γενναιόδωρη για παιδιά (αλλά είναι αμφίβολο αν αυτή είναι η σκοπιμότητα του ξενοδοχείου). Η πισίνα, καθαρή με όμορφο αν και στενάχωρο περιβάλλοντα χώρο.Διαθέτει ναυαγοσώστη! Το μπαρ θυμίζει λίγο πλοίο στη γραμμή Ελλάδα-Ιταλία και θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο ευχάριστο και πολυτελές. Κρύος καφές αδιάφορος. Δεν δοκιμάσαμε το εστιατόριο, αλλά πλησίον του ξενοδοχείου δεν υπάρχει εστιατόριο ούτε για δείγμα. Η εσωτερική σάλα είναι λιτή και καθαρή. Ο χωρίς στάθμευσης επίσης οριακά επαρκής για το μέγεθος επισκεψιμότητας του ξενοδοχείου. Η ρεσεψιόν μάλλον χλιαρή και απρόσωπη. Η σχέση τιμής/ποιότητας είναι υποφερτή. Αλλά σίγουρα το ξενοδοχείο θέλει σύντομα αναβάθμιση για να ανταποκρίνεται στην τιμή του.

We were booked into this hotel in 2020 and then Covid hit so we had to cancel they were very understanding and refunded all our money so we knew we had to return and were so glad we did. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from Ipsos beach and has plenty of parking if you have a car. It is up a slight hill if you have mobility issues but you should be oaky. Our room was clean and had everthing we needed.If you can get a sea view for great views.The room was also cleaned daily. The Wi FI was strong and worked all over the hotel. The grounds are well kept and the pool area was amazing with plenty of comfotable sun beds and a view over the Ionian sea. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. The breakfast is buffet style and had all the usual Greek options and was served from 07.30 to 11.00. They do serve food around the pool in the day but I don't think they serve food in the evenings but don't worry as there are many great restaurants on the Ipsos ***** and further away ie Dassia/Corfu Town. If you are arrring by the number 7 bus just get off at City hall and walk down the road by En El Mar bar and you will find the sign for the hotel in a couple of minutes. We can higlhy recommend this hotel and would stay here again when in Ipsos.

The place is at a great location, the shops, restaurants and beaches are easily accessible, however a car is advisable to have in general when visiting Corfu. The apartment we stayed at was super tidy and clean, cleaning service was provided each day, the place has strong wifi, air conditioning, balcony, living room, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your food, but if it is not the case there is breakfast available with a variety of choices and freshly prepared eggs based on your taste. The view from the balcony was absolutely gorgeous, we could see the boats and airplanes from the balcony. The hosts were very friendly and gave us a lot of advices on where to go including a map as well. I don’t mind paying in advance as it is really worth it, however if for any reasons you cannot show up, it is better to have insurance for your trip, as there is no refund available. There is a fairly big swimming pool at the reception and bar area with sunbeds with a view at the sea. Would come again.
