Corfu Mare Hotel -Adults Only Reviews

We were very satisfied, the room was very clean and the bed very big and comfortable. They cleaned us everyday. The breakfast is rich and the pool area very nice. The staff is very kind. The only negative was that its price was steep. We booked it for 164 euros a night after an offer.

2nd year here for my wife and I. Fantastic again. Vasilis, Olga, Elena and Marena looked after us extremly well. Food is fabulus and compeditive pricewise with town. A bit far out from the center (about 2.5K). There is a bus at the top of the road but only every 2 or 3 hours so times didn't a;ways suit. I would highly recommend this hotel. One suggestion I would make would be a shuttle bus to and from the hotel. I would think it would pay for itself.

This is possibly the friendliest hotel we have ever stayed in ( we have stayed in many hotels)! From our arrival, the staff could not have been more welcoming, friendly and hospitable. The room was exceptionally clean and bed very comfortable. The Restaurant Staff were exceptional, with the lovely Vassili and wonderful waitresses going above and beyond at every meal time! They work so hard, always cheerful however busy they are. Food was delicious , and we found plenty to choose from the Set Menu. The pool is a good size and enough Sun loungers. Brilliant Gym for size of the hotel. Location is about 30 mins walk to the Old Town which is stunning. We did a Day Boat Cruise & BBQ and hired a Scooter for the day, both were fabulous experiences. It’s the attention to detail that makes this hotel outstanding - it is very important to the staff that you have the very best time. They take so much pride in their work - we Brits have much to learn from the Corfiots! We can honestly say, we have never left a hotel before feeling like we were leaving family, but this is exactly how we felt. We will definitely return and would very highly recommend this wonderful , gem of a hotel. Thank you all so much for an amazing, relaxing experience!

On arrival at 10pm we were seen straight away and given a list of all the information we required for our stay. Lovely staff on reception. Our room was clean with a mini fridge and a big wardrobe. The rooms are slightly dated but we only used ours for sleeping so it didn’t make a difference. Great pool view balcony, which I requested before arrival. The bar was very relaxing and the bar staff were amazing and super friendly. They looked after everyone with the same approach and made you feel welcome immediately. We didn’t spend much time round the pool but we got a bed in the afternoon when ever we wanted one. The hotel is about 20/25 min walk away from the old town, of you use the top road instead of the main road. It’s so able but then you can also speak to reception, who had us a taxi within 5 mins every time. Cost is about 12/15 euros each way. Well worth it. We had a hire car so used the hotel as a base. There is not much around the hotel and you need to travel to a beach, it seems most people used the buses to get about. The only shop near the hotel is a little kiosk on the main road but they had plenty to choose from. The main event in this hotel for us was the restaurant! We used this twice during our stay and we highly recommend giving it a try! Overall we would use the hotel again and we enjoyed the releaxed atmosphere.

We stayed at the Corfu mare hotel in august 2024 as a family of two adults and two 17 year old girls, we could not fault any aspect of holiday. The hotel food was amazing, pool are was quite, relaxing and spotlessly clean, the service from all staff was second to none, reception helped with every query we had, bar and restaurant staff could not have been more attentive and welcoming, in particularly Vasilis and olga (although every member of staff were amazing and made us feel so welcome). A short walk to a cocktail bar and a few restaurants with amazing views onto the harbour and absolutely beautiful food that was very reasonably priced. Overall highly recommend for a small quite relaxed holiday, a very friendly hotel And would definitely return.

Myself and my husband stayed at the Corfu Mare Boutique Hotel for 10 days during June 2024. We had a lovely stay. The hotel is immaculately clean. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The pool facilities were great and we could easily get a sun lounger most days. We only ate an evening meal at the restaurant once which was nice. The lunchtime bar food was nice, in particularly the margarita pizzas were delicious. The only minor negatives were the room being a little bit tired but I believe there's a refurbishment due and thus didn't impact our holiday. The hotel is slightly out of the way which was exacerbated by the heatwave we experienced when staying there. I would recommend this hotel to couples wanting a relaxing enjoyable holiday.

Our third visit to the super friendly Corfu Mare Hotel did not disappoint after two superb previous holiday’s at this hotel in 2022 and 2023. The excellent hotel reception team and management gave us a lovely welcome back upon arrival and there was also a welcome back card, complimentary bottle of wine and basket of fruit in our room. We had exactly the same top floor large double room as our last holiday there with views from our balcony onto the sea and nearby marina. We then. got further amazing welcome back greetings from Eleni and Vassilios who run the restaurant and bar in the hotel always giving great friendly service. They will always do their best for you and it was clear by the number of people we met who were return guests like ourselves who really appreciate the personal touch. Eleni and Vassilios are also very well supported by the other hard working and excellent staff including Olga in the bar and Olga at reception which makes being here a pleasure. The breakfast is always very good, lunches are tasty and dinner by the pool is excellent with the chef taking great pride in all the food she and her small team produce. We have already booked again for June 2025 !! It will be great to see the hotel after its refurbishment later this year. The location is a bit out of Corfu old town but we enjoy walking and it takes around 30 minutes to get into the centre with the old town port area closer. Taxis back and forth cost 10 to 15 euros and all the drivers were very good and easy to get. It’s a small but very comfortable boutique hotel with a very nice pool area and just great staff. Stayed at the hotel after 7 day cruise (which was perfect). The hotel is slightly dated but I believe it is due a refurb in the very near future. Otherwise it is a really nice hotel, the staff were very helpful and accomadating. The service was first class, food was good and generous portions. We had no problem getting a sunbed, the pool water was nice an warm. Only issue and this has been mentioned in previous reviews is the distance to Corfu town which we did brave and took about 50 minutes (slow pace). There was a couple of nights were we had entertainment and this wasn't too bad. I would reccomend this hotel and would certainly visit again if we come back to Corfu.

This hotel is cruel to animals, it takes the cats and dumps them. A lady was trying to adopt one of the poorly cats and they removed it and lied about what they had done with it. It has caused terrible stress. Do not book this hotel if you are an animal lover. AVOID!!

Cat killer! You should be ashamed of yourselves Corfu Mare Hotel. Deliberating misleading us that you were looking after the sick black and white cat found at your hotel. No way did you help this cat or have any intention to help us whilst we were trying to find it again to treat it

Hotel guests raised concerns about a very poorly cat they wanted to help and adopt. The cat was living in the hotel grounds, however rather than support they trapped the cat and lied that it had been taken to the vets. The cat never received treatment, and has never been seen since the staff moved it. It’s horrendous animal cruelty, and TUI will be made aware of this incident. Do not support this hotel, as this poor practice will continue.

We stayed here for a week, it’s not somewhere I would ever visit again, due to the fact that the hotel kill the strays around the hotel. Absolutely abhorrent behaviour considering how many charities in the area are willing to help. The cat in question wanted to be adopted by a tourist, and was been cared for whilst this was sorted out. Disgusting behaviour.

Booked a cruise and stay and chose this hotel because it was adults only and its proximity to Corfu town. Reason it’s a 4 and not a 5, is that it is just a little tough trying to walk to the old town and limited paths to use if attempting the walk. That’s it, that was my only negative, never had any issues with room, always got a sunbed by pool at 10am and the staff are 10/10, 5/5, just so friendly and accommodating. Had an issue with fridge in room, resolved same day. You read what you will from previous reviews, but our experience was top notch, all made that way due to the staff. Special mentions to Vasilis, Marina Marina Marina, Olga and Eleni (still don’t know if that’s right), but you are all a credit to yourselves and the hotel. Thank you.
