Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort

The Grecotel was, as always, amazing! We enjoyed every moment of our stay and recommend you to book.

The location of this hotel is amazing. I especially loved the little beach areas. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. And the food was very good. A great deal of activities were offered. We are coming back!!!

If you have the ability to stay at Corfu Imperial Grecotel and don’t then you have definitely missed out on maximizing your vacation!! Firstly, a huge thank you to Effi who is maybe the MOST important person that made my stay in this hotel unforgettable. I had come from another hotel after a very bad experience and she made sure nothing would be left to chance! The villa I stayed in the first night ended up being not exactly what I was looking for and they promptly moved me to a beautiful sea view villa that was perfect. The breakfast buffet is top notch! Anything you could want from local deliciousness, custom omlettes to a traditional english breakfast. The selection of watersports or pools to choose from make activities a breeze and the delicious restaurants onsite make leaving hard to do. Another big thank you to Stavroula at the floating seafood restaurant who helped me two days in a row and worked with the kitchen to customize a beautiful octopus just the way I wanted and it was heaven! She also had great wine and Corfu Town recommendations. Overall, the people make the place! There are many beautiful hotels in Corfu, but this one just seems head and heels above when it comes to truly caring about your experience. Book it!

We spent a fantastic week at the Corfu Imperial with two adult children staying in a Boschetto 2-bedroom apartment which suited us very well. Despite a very late arrival, a nice warm welcome awaited us along with prosecco and sandwiches in the room which set the scene for a magical week. The hotel, grounds, pool & beach areas are all very well kept and nicely presented with lovely staff. We made use of the free transfer to Corfu town and had a lovely morning strolling around the charming back streets of this deservedly UNESCO World Heritage site. Food (and wine) featured very heavily during our stay. Each day started with the fantastic buffet breakfast spread, with so many choices, soaking up the views from the terrace. Yali Seafood was a delight, lunch at Trattoria was very relaxed; a special mention to Sophia and the Paloma cocktail recommendation, finished off with ice cream from Gelateria. The Danilia evening experience is well worth booking. With one day of poor weather the boat transfer to LUXME Daphnila Bay was cancelled but reception quickly arranged for their car to collect us for dinner at Tavernaki which was very enjoyable and a nice change of scenery. We enjoyed the evening entertainment both at the Imperial and gatecrashing Greek dancing at next door’s Eva Palace was fun. A special mention to Alyona who put us through our paces at morning yoga (a very special experience down on the island) and late morning aqua gym to work up an appetite. With a late evening flight home, we were very grateful for the late check out so we could enjoy a full final day at this amazing hotel which doesn’t disappoint. A very special hotel and well worth the expense.

Spectacular! This hotel is exceptional in every way. There are loads of restaurant options including those at other local Grecotels so you’re spoilt for choice. Service is spot on with staff doing everything they can and arranging every request. We had a swim up bungalow which was definitely worth it. The pools are quiet as is the smaller beach at the end of the peninsula. The larger beach in front of the hotel is where families tend to stay, but it’s still lovely. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough.

Excellent service from hotel staff..very friendly and so helpful. Excellent restaurants. Good wine and cocktail options! Although the hotel is very child friendly there are options for adults only also. Easy access to pools and beach with excellent menus here too!

Wow. What a hotel. Perfect combination of luxury for adults with children well catered for. The location is simply stunning, on its private peninsula. The hotel runs free shuttles to Corfu old town, we exchanged our half board for lunch and popped out for dinner. Kids club- absolutely wonderful. The staff are fantastic with the children and the activities put on are the best I’ve ever seen. Pizza making, nature walks & flower book making, beach walks, dessert making. Kiddie corner- free (fabulous) lunch buffet for all children. Another first for us, fantastic element of our stay. We don’t need 3 meals a day but our son does so it was lovely to sit and have a drink whilst he ate. Our room was clean, spacious with great views. Had a surprise birthday cake delivered which was a lovely touch. Restaurants are fab. We enjoyed the seafood and the Italian. A few guests reserved sun beds before breakfast, so if you went to the pool at 10am you’d have no chance at getting a bed by the pool. Shame but this only happens in peak school holiday dates. Other than this it was a perfect stay and I’d love to return.
