Hotel Raj Palace was a great base for our adventures in Maheshwar. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit small, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Sagar and his family added a personal touch, making us feel really at home, with information about the town and the local area, and assistance as needed. All in all we felt comfortable and well looked after. I recommend a balcony room, overlooking the Narmada River and Raja Rajeshwar Temple. Maheshwar has a lot to offer, being reminiscent of India of old. We explored the whole town on foot, met some very lovely people and could have stayed longer than the 12 days we booked.

Very clean and neat place right in the fort and walking distance to most temples/ghats in maheshwar. While there is no restaurant on premises, they recommend a very good restaurant (labbooz) for lunch and a homely banke bihari for dinner (the dal bafla there is highlight. It may be noted that getting to all their rooms involve climbing steps.

Wash room is stinky. Staff is rude. Room is congested. It’s just on the road side and the room with forest view is exactly facing road. So the sounds of the vehicles moving on the road is disturbing the sleep. Apart from that ac and beds are ok. No water is provided in the room. No restaurant with in the hotel. Parking is also very limited. Has got canteen for tea and coffee. But it takes more than half an hour

GGuest UserThe place is right on the main road close to all the visiting spots. Our check in was smooth and the suite had big rooms but were not very clean. The bed sheet had stains on them, however on informing the staff they changed it. The blanket also provided in a double room was for a single person but the staff provided additional blankets on request. The food was good in taste, however the manager needs to have a customer centric focus which was missing. He charged us ₹500 to switch on the airconditioner while having our lunch since the restaurant does not have any air-conditioning.
Maheshwar is a very small place and finding a good hotel is a challange. This hotel has been renamed as Panchratna so please do not get confuse. It's a good pocket friendly hotel in a location like Maheshwar. There are high end hotels like MPT resort or very average hotels. This a a very good hotel for everyone's need. Best part is there is a good restaurant which is used by people even not staying in the hotel. do not expect 3 star type finish but rooms are good and bathroom was clean. Maheshwar ghat is 15 min walk which is a good thing. Anoyher good thing is Hotel is little away from conjugated market. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Restaurant panchwati is also good.

GGuest UserLocated at a peaceful place close to the Handlooms market. Only plus point of hotel are it’s rooms, which are quite spacious & well equipped. Barring that almost everything is negative. 1) Hotel having 4 floors with circular staircase & no lift . Not suitable for Senior Citizens & ailing persons. 2) A restaurant for name sake, which is not operative. Even for morning tea , you have to move out using those circular staircases. 3) Front desk person at reception claim a lot but are not available most of the time . Service of hotel is below average.
