This is an absolutely beautiful stay. Myself and my partner just did the one night and wish we did more. Staff were very friendly and the location is beautiful. This is a great place to come and take at your own leisure and take in the beautiful scenery.

The location was amazing, close to a little town with restaurants,bars, massage areas. The room was in the middle of a jungle pretty much so the view was gorgeous. The staff was great, very helpful and nice. And food was also amazing, must try the Tom yum. There was no air conditioning but they provided fans and the weather cools down at night so it was good enough. There were also nets around the bed to keep the bugs away, just make sure to keep it closed tightly. There’s a little swimming hole next to the hotel restaurant where you can also watch monkeys swim! Would definitely recommend staying here if you love to be immersed into nature.

In our opinion the best place to stay in Kao Sok. Especially if you like monkeys on your balcony in the morning! Not the first time and definitely not the last!

We stayed two nights. The nature around is incredible. Breakfast was very tasty, fresh orange and pineapple juices, fresh coffee. Stuff is nice, polite and helpful. First day we stayed in the room near the river and everything was good there. But the next day we changed the room and the shower in the room didn’t work properly.

Simple houses on the river. River is quite low now. It's fun to see the monkeys jumping in. You will also be woken up early in the morning by monkeys jumping on your roof.

The Arts Riverview Lodge is beautifully located right on the river. The breakfast is fantastic for the price. We were suggested to book various tours but no one was pushy or made us feel badly treated after we hadn't booked... (I don't understand the other comments on this) and our room was absolutely mold-free. We had a very pleasant stay and would come back!

The accommodation is quiet, not chaotic, the room design is good. The fan in the room is a bit loud. Everything else is great👍

Relatively distressing stay, nasty monkeys, mice and lizards in the room, room not clean, extreme humidity, attack of tiger mosquitoes and wasps for breakfast…

A cottage nestled quietly in the jungle. The facilities are very simple, but it is recommended for those who like wild life.

The overall atmosphere of the accommodation is very good and impressive, but lost in the rainy season. So I did not swim before staying at all.

I want to start off this review by saying that I am someone who loves the outdoors, hiking, camping etc. I’ve hiked Kilimanjaro and done 2 week treks before. That being said, this lodge was maybe too extreme nature for me. I hope this review is helpful because when I was booking I didn’t see enough like this Pros -right in the nature, very remote not that close to Main Street -service was great -river right next to hotel -good breakfast Cons -huge lizards in our room -hardly any barrier to the outside (holes in floor and walls) so tons of creatures can get into the room -our treehouse stairs were treacherous and we are physically fit 20 year olds. I’m not sure how someone much older would be able to navigate these stairs every day let alone with bags -no AC (this was a killer for us given that it was close to 35C/95F during the day and didn’t really cool down that much at night. They provided fans but we were still dripping all night) -20 minute walk to town to go to restaurants and in the stifling heat and humidity this was brutal Unfortunately because we couldn’t sleep the first night due to heat we ended up leaving 2 nights early. If you want a very remote, VERY rustic stay then this place is for you. Truly felt like camping in the jungle.

The staff were very helpful for ideas, tours and transportation. Lovely setting and walkable to town.

Upon checking in, we were taken to our room but it was not the room we booked. We were told to just stay there even though it was a cheaper room and smelled strongly of urine. We ended up moved to a room style that we booked. The room was unable to be locked once you’re inside and there are large cracks in the walls and roof that allow bugs and wildlife. There was no a/c and the bedding had yellow stains. The net over the bed was held together with bandaids. We’re travelling for our honeymoon and the reality did not match what was proposed when we booked.
