Beautiful resort. A little old but the room with access to the pool is great. Breakfast was okay. Pool is huge. Beach is private and clean. Resort offers lots of little activities like beach yoga, water aerobics, cycling! Great options for dinner at the restaurant!

amazing place in terms of quality of resort, exclusive beach and pool. food from Restaurant was disappointing, almost got robbed. they must focus on improving their Authentic Thai dishes from Restaurant menu. overall it was a Great experience.

We stayed at this hotel probably ten times, we love the pool, breakfast, happy hours at pool bar, gym and pool table. Room needs upgrade, the room we stayed the wooden floor slightly pop up due to humidity.

Beautiful place and calm. The employee have service mind .I enjoyed with all of activity cycling ,tabletennis, swimming etc And your breakfast had variety of food. Next time I will back again when I have time.

Hotel in phase of decadence. The facilities are not of a higher level than a 2-3 star hotel. It used to be a peaceful hotel for adults only (it is now more than 22:00 and children and families are still shouting and playing on the pool access rooms). No free shuttle bus to Khao Lak anymore. Prices in the restaurant too expensive. I have been here for at least 10 times, but I don't think I will be back again...really a pity.

3 time staying at the Haven Pool Access Room cannot fault our 14 nights service staff exceptional, room and service’s excellent food bars massages and all staff involved also excellent Will be back again next year for sure looking at staying even longer next year even though being our third stay still so much more to see and do in the area

The staff were absolutely amazing, always greeting you with a smile and Jeff was an absolute star, a real asset to the resort. The pool is the heart of the resort and a great place to meet new friends. The food is fantastic with a menu to suit most. We were lucky to have one of the jacuzzi villas for our stay, . The Haven Khao Lak, Thank you for making our first Thailand experience one to remember.

Booked here after hotel we were staying in was dirty and glad we did. Booked poolside room with pool only few guests could use and room was stunning. Breakfast amazing and staff so polite and friendly. Cocktails really tasty and three happy hours. Right on the beach and pools saltwater and very clean. Not the cheapest hotel in area but worth every penny and more. Definitely coming back.

Firstly let me say this is a wonderful hotel. It's in the most delightful place right on the beach. You are surrounded by jungle. The pools are fantastic. The food is great the staff are lovely and helpful. You need a car to get about as there is nothing to do there. If you you want a place to unwind this is it. The hotel needs some updating our rooms bathroom door didn't shut. It's looking tired. If you do go there have the drinks package. That way you won't get shouted at by a member of staff.if don't sign for two cans of coke at the pool bar. It's not that we could go anywhere. We moved out of the way so other people could get to the bar. It was very embarrassing. We would've signed for more drinks all on one go. I reported it, but I don't know the outcome as know one every got back to us. After that we only had a drink with our dinner. We went down to the local shop and bought our own, which was far cheaper. It comes with breakfast l, there is a good choice but it would've been better if the food was hot. I still would recommend this hotel as the name states, it's a haven. We would go back there, but use it as a place if you are traveling around Thailand

Tended by the most beautiful people on this earth, plus the location leading to a sandy beach with awesome views. Hotel itself is magnificent. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and everything you could wish for. So many activities provided or chill out by the enormous pools. Cannot fault anything. Great gym & spa. Many dining options. Shuttle bus provided at specific times into Khao lak town itself. Someone remarked on it looking tired - have no idea whose glasses they were looking through. Loved - loved - loved it. Sad to leave

We spent 8 nights here in a pool access room on an all-inclusive Luxury Escapes package. We left with mixed feelings, but overall, we were disappointed with our stay and the way we were treated throughout. Things didn’t start particularly well as we initially had a room in one wing of the hotel but as we had plumbing issues with a water leak in the bathroom ceiling, we were moved to a similar room on the other side of the resort. This room too had a leak in the ceiling but we couldn’t be bothered letting reception know as when we did let reception know about the issue we were hounded and made to feel like we were causing trouble. I provided this feedback to them. We genuinely felt like we were being punished for causing an issue. This should not be the case at all. We tried not to think too much about what the liquid was leaking through the roof and dripping onto our heads when we stood at the bathroom sink. It didn’t smell great at times. Aside from that, the rooms were spacious and kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay. It would be great if the little terrace in front of your room was a little larger so that you could have a couple of proper sun lounges rather than chairs. The water pressure and temperature was pretty awful in both rooms and we had to constantly adjust the shower. We swam a lot as we had a choice of using the pool in front of our room or going down to the enormous main pool which stretches for almost 400 metres where it runs along the beach. The swimming pools are kept spotlessly clean. We loved the beachfront location as we were able to swim in the Andaman Sea and also go for long walks as the hotel sits on what may be one of the longest stretches of beach in Thailand. The downside is that there is not much within in walking distance but if you want to go to town you can use the hotel’s free shuttle which runs on a published timetable. We did this a couple of times to visit the local supermarkets and cafes on the main road. Other than that, we stayed around the resort. There’s a little convenience store about 5 minutes walk up the road which has a good variety of drinks, snacks and personal care items etc. The shopkeeper there is awesome. If you have mobility issues you would need to think carefully about staying here as there are a lot of stairs and potential tripping hazards all through the property. Even getting in and out of the swimming pools may prove difficult. You can see the resort is tired and needs a renovation so hopefully there are some plans for that. The restaurant staff are super friendly, especially the staff at breakfast and dinner. We were always happy to see the barista in the morning as she made awesome coffee. Reception staff were hit and miss, mainly the males were not great. Our biggest disappointment was around the cocktails and food which formed part of our package, we were left feeling like poor cousins despite the fact that we ordered off the so called “VIP Menu”. The
