After a 12-day cruise, we wanted to make the holiday expire in Kiel for two days and have booked a room in advance ... Ein hundefreundliches Hotel mit sehr schönen Zimmern, direkt an einem Park mit Hunde-Auslaufzone. Das Restaurant und die Bar sind wunderschön eingerichtet und besonders das Restaurant- und Bar-Personal war sehr herzlich und freundlich. Nicht so nordisch-steif, wie man es von manchen hochpreisigen Hotels kennt. Wir fanden das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sehr angemessen. Das Frühstück ist ausgewählt üppig, mit vielen kleinen, ungewöhnlichen Leckereien (kaltgebeizter Lachs, Himbeer-Buttermilch...) und jeden Morgen anders. Die Terrasse mit Blick in den Park und auf einen kleinen Teil der Förder ist einfach ein Traum. Die Weinauswahl ist sehr gut und die Preise für Wein und Menü angemessen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Supermarkets, shopping malls and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The hotel has an elevator and free Wi-Fi As in the IBIS Hotel, breakfast is Mo-Fr 06:30 to 10:30 and Sa+So 07Uhr-11. Drinks like water and coffee are available free to 22:00. There is also a bar in the dining room. Eat there until 22:00, drinks until midnight The TV in the room works well.

A very new, modern hotel directly opposite of Kiel's main train station, and therefore also close to the Scandinavian ferries. My room was spotless, with a nice minibar and coffee machine. It was also quiet (facing the courtyard/ city). Good breakfast, though the seating was a bit... well, not cramped, but I would have appreciated more small tables for 1-2 persons. Overall a very good and relaxing experience, still.

The hotel is well located, directly at the Hbf and still quiet (at least the rooms to the water), the staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the hotel has already come into the years, what you look at the room facility now (flicked tape, traces of use on the furniture, shower wall was once clear glass, you can see before loud calc and other deposits The cleanliness is superficially OK, in more precise terms, it looks different. The kittens are partly flaxy, the lower part of the toilet actually found down and now dry rests of previous guests' leaves, the carpet is also sucked quite grossly independently of the spots. Unfortunately, this has left a so sustainable impression that, especially in view of the price, no more than 2 points are given.

We stayed in this hotel one night. Overall experience was positive The hotel is located on Kiel's ”flordo” in a strategic position for those who have to take off for cruises (10 minutes walk from the terminal), it is also near the railway station and buses. The hotel has a private parking. Standard, clean and discreetly soundproofed rooms. nice staff. Excellent quality price ratio. Absolutely recommended.

A refreshing hotell, cool and different, it stands out in the crowd. It is as near the railroad track as possible, due to good sound proofing that was never a problem. Very good breakfast.

Booked double room at expedia, hotels.com. Pictures shown at reservation and room we got do not match. Receptinist played as if hos english is poor insisting room is the booked one, so you will risk you will not get what you book as there is definitely wrong marketing of rooms: Do not believe in pictures!. Other than that, you will not die if you stay one day here in transit as we did. But, room we stayed was dirty, including toilet/bathroom which is not ok. And we used our own towels as ones we had in room were not clean

We were in this hotel with our children, summarized it is a hotel with many heights but also with many deepness. Suppe average, pre-food was good, after-food average. Breakfast was enough and very good :) Bar: I was always good visit, so I can't understand why one trainer is left to work there alone. It was unfortunately not behind because of the high demand. However, she was very friendly, effortless and one of the best staff in the hotel. Why let them work with a trained button is a mystery for me. Wellness: The area is very beautiful in itself and I was very positively surprised, Because of our own very negative experience, I would dismiss us to visit the pool area with young children, because our experience is not desirable for children to stay in the pool in normal child volume and it is noted immediately be quiet. The other guests in the pool could not understand why we were noticed and have just shaken their head. Unfortunately, a significant negative experience, as we had no “volume” problems in any (wellness) hotel yet.
