I’ve traveled extensively, but my stay at Onomo Hotel Kigali was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever encountered. The service was terrible, they serve international cuisine, but it is the worst food I've had. The tablecloths in the dining area were dirty, making meals even more unappetizing. After enduring four unpleasant nights, I had to cut my trip short and leave three days earlier than planned. When I inquired about a refund for the unused nights, the staff initially informed me that they typically charge for one night in case of cancellations. However, they had me fill out a form at the reception and assured me I would be reimbursed for three nights within three weeks. It’s now been over two months, and not only have I received no refund, but they’ve also completely ignored my follow-up emails. What’s even more outrageous is that their booking policy claims they don’t charge anything until 12 PM on the day of arrival—yet here I am, still fighting to get my money back for nights I didn’t even stay. This is basically stealing my money. This level of unprofessionalism and dishonesty is unacceptable. I would strongly advise against staying at Onomo Hotel Kigali. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else!
