The hotel experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish.
The reception girls both were polite and very helpful. The bar staff again very helpful couldn’t do enough for you . At breakfast Catherine was absolutely amazing, very efficient so approachable she was an asset to your hotel.
We will be returning again .

Recently spent two nights in Moyvalley Hotel for a wedding. Beautiful setting for a wedding and really enjoyed the venue and food. Staff are amazing and so friendly, a special mention to the lady who worked the brakfast check in each morning she was a pleasure to speak with. The Cellar Bar is an excellent addition ! We hired two cottages with plenty of room to accomodate a large group. Cottages are clean and comfortable. One of the cottages could have done with some tlc, just a general touch up and replace some of the amenities like kettle and iron. Linen and towels are immaculate and the housekeeping staff are so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. I couldnt leave this review without mentioning that a large group of foreign men were hanging around one of the cottages smoking most of the day and into the night and kids knocking on our cottage door and running away, it appeared as if they are living there and were looking in our windows back and front constantly which we found extremley uncomfortable.

Beautiful wedding venue with outdoor area, lovely staff, food was delicious. The rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. I would recommend for a medium size wedding with the ceremony on site. Need more barstaff for the reception bar. There was only one guy for a long period.

What a beautiful place for a wedding, grounds are stunning only recommendation I'd make is badly needs a pool and spa as it would attract more clients to such a beautiful spot.
