Wonderful stay! We booked at the last minute on our way from Waterford. We were given an upgrade at no charge. The rural setting is lovely and peaceful. The room and bed were very comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was AWESOME! Jer was an excellent host with lots of good recommendations. It is a few miles from the city center but that's a good thing when you want to relax and have some peacefulness.

Homeless shoelace project and mr shoelace says great value. Would definitely recommend. Lots o things too do and visit in the area. Pe ar very nice and fr. Very relaxing and very quiet too. Will be making a trip in the very near future. Food is nice and varied

Bella esperienza, che conserveró nei miei ricordi per sempre. Era come andare a trovare gli zii. Camera e bagno riscaldati, puliti e provvisti di accortezze che dimostrano la cordialitá dei padroni di casa. Colazione molto buona. Posto silenzioso, fuori dal dal traffico della cittá. Grazie Mary e Ger per la gentilissima accoglienza e la vostra cura. PS. Ger, grazie per la simpatica chiacchierata prima della nostra partenza, mi sono veramente divertita. Spero di cuore di tornare da voi un giorno.

This b and b was in a great location Very close to town and had a good selection of teas and coffees and even small muffins for guests. The room was nice and breakfast good. Why I gave 3 stars was the host who greeted us was the only unfriendly person we met in all of Ireland. We were greeted with " who comes to Ireland in November" and " if your going to Ring of Kerry tommorrow, you are wasting your time. Its going to rain." We thought that odd from an innkeeper. Everyone else we've met has been WONDERFUL so friendly and going above and beyond. Kilkenny awesome town. Lots of fun.

Wonderful stay, everything was perfect! Comfy and cosy room, the owner Ger was very kind. There is a beautiful backyard. It’s quite near the city centre, if you have a car it’s a perfect position, so calm and relaxing. The breakfast is rich and delicious, I recommend the porridge and the pancakes with sweet apples 😍 5+/5

Beb poco distante da Kilkenny; carino e pulito. Camera con bagno esterno, dedicato solo a noi: la stanza x questo forniva accappatoi per gli spostamenti in corridoio! Molto buona la pulizia e l’accoglienza: bollitore e biscottini in camera. Colazione buona. Zona tranquilla e silenziosa.

Abbiamo passato una notte al Twin Oaks in agosto in occasione di un tour dell'Irlanda e ci siamo trovati molto bene, camera accogliente e pulita, bagno esterno solo per noi (le altre camere se non sbaglio avevano il proprio in camera), e i due proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Ho apprezzato molto di più strutture come questa che non gli alberghi in cui abbiamo soggiornato a Dublino e Limerick, e la differenza sta soprattutto nella cura e pulizia (sia delle camere che del bagno) e nella colazione. In questo B&B in particolare si può scegliere il tipo di colazione (molto abbondante), noi ad esempio abbiamo scelto i pancake con frutta fresca, viene preparato tutto al momento, e anche le marmellate erano "della casa". Insomma, cura dei dettagli e del cliente non indifferente, consigliatissimo.
