Room was lovely and very clean, staff were very friendly. Location was perfect, right in the centre of the city. We will stay here again

First night room ok cramped
Service and food in restaurant v poor or average at best
Staff not organised
Veg options poor
Second night disaster with rubbish support from reception over repeated complaints about noise from next room
Reception had private mobile number of that guest so something v strange going on.
Follow up by James manager also poor
Expensive for lack of quality and service we received
Owners should be alarmed.

The new Ember restaurant is a first class destination. Such delicious foods. Love the way it’s been redone. Great food, great menu and excellent service. The steak and the half chicken are great. Starters are well appointed and the chicken wings are delicious. Dessert is yummy. Thank you for a wonderful meal would return and recommend!

Excellent central location. Our room was very spoacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing and live music in th bar each night was an added bonus.

We had a comfortable stay in the Hibernian. The room was nice, bed comfortable. The heating system was a bit clanky at times but didn’t disturb our sleep. The hotel has an old world feel and the bar is pleasant for a pre/post dinner drink. The location is excellent, very close to the castle/shops/restaurants.

So glad we did not miss this hotel or Kilkenny. I only wished we had stayed longer. Our room had wonderful high ceilings, large windows, beautiful view. The check in experience was very friendly and easy. We enjoyed touring the castle and walking the town. The town was quaint, easy to walk without crowds. We had some great food, great music in the pub in the evening. I would highly recommend staying here and for at least two nights.
