We stayed there 24.08.24 till 26.08.24 , no water , no breakfirst ( just a bottle of warm water and coffee powder ) , the sanitary installations are partly broken since long time , the staff abandoned but friendly , the owner does not care . not a place to recommend and we will ask for refund

We stayed at voyage village on our trip to Mikumi national park . The property is a 15 min drive from the park. The entire campus is very neat and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. However the bathroom shower did not work properly. There were not many options for food , but whatever that was offered was delicious. There was a power cut in the evening and we were disappointed to know that the property did not have a backup generator. They only had a solar backup which could operate only minimal lights. After a long day , we just wanted to rest but the fans in the room were also not working . Due to the power cut it was so dark outside and we couldn’t find our way back to the reception. We just had to sit in the dark and wait patiently and this experience almost ruined our trip. I would totally recommend this place but pls pray there is no power cut when you stay. And they could also use WiFi . Other wise voyage village is an excellent option for ur stay at mikumi .
