Americas Best Value Inn Kinder/North

It is obvious that the owners/managers of this hotel do not care about the product they provide. The room was filthy. There were bugs climbing the wall and dead on the bathroom floor. The walls and door were smudged with years of finger and hand prints and obviously never cleaned. I walked into my room to find the temperature somewhere close to hades. It’s June in south Louisiana. The air conditioner should be set to something other than off. The shower is a death trap. There is a mat on the floor of the tub that is so slippery that I nearly killed myself by falling when I stepped on it (alone in this room). The faucet leaked. The floor was dirty. I could go on. The positives were that the sheets appeared to be freshly laundered and there was no evidence of bed bugs. Just stay someplace else. I would have if there had Ben another option.
