I feel the prices here are a bit high. The basic room type of the hotel costs more than 1,200 per night and does not include breakfast. There are several resort hotels around, with Starbucks and restaurants, and it is also close to the beach. The hotel has parking.

The hotel staff is probably one of the best . When I wanted things I was not told by anyone “this is not my job”. Everyone was forthcoming All I had to do was to see someone with a name badge of hotel, make a request and done. Here are a few names … Hassan in banquet who ensured our meeting went smooth… he was there at 0745 and carried that energy and smile till 9pm. Also Mahmoud , he eventually knew I wanted fresh ginger tea very frequently. Like a magician he wud see me and make one for me Some more names Abdul Haq , Naushad , Rana, Mostapha, Rami , Zaheer and Naeem with rebeka. Special shout out to Arsalan ! Thanks for the multiplug and almost gifting it to me . I am sorry I forgot the names of the senior managera… just goes to prove how empowering they are and have developed their people Miss their magic now

I would like to take a moment and a few to write a review of a wonderful experience my wife and I had at Bay La Sun. To begin with, we had booked a room with a normal city view from the 14th to 16th July for our 1st anniversary, but due to an extreme rare problem that occurred within KAEC, the hotels and other offices had to shut down those 2 days and we had to return back to our city on the 14th itself. The judgement is not made on the mishaps that happens, but on how they handle the mishaps, the hotel manager Mr. Raed Aljahdali understood the significance of this matter and took care of us really well that he compensated us with a better package the following week from 20th - 22nd July which included a better view (sea and marine view), a honeymoon package, 4 games at the Bay la sun club and a late check out, all of it was free of cost with a variety of delicious breakfast. A very hospitable and a true gentleman who knows how to keep the respect intact of a 5 star hotel which Bay la sun is. Other than him, Mr. Hamza Alghamdi the receptionist, Mr. Feyaz Anver the supervisor of house keeping and Mr. Bachu the house keeping staff had given us a service of a very exceptional one. I would definitely recommend anyone visiting KAEC to stay at Bay La Sun and enjoy the services they give to their customers. Thank you Bay La Sun for a great weekend getaway and a great 1st anniversary my wife and I had.

Not the easiest place to get to. Trains from the airport run intermittently and an uber ride is expensive. If you get the train- You still need to get a taxi to the hotel and they are not reliable. The hotel needs more elevators, especially if it’s busy. Restaurant food is repetitive but good and the staff are attentive, especially Abdo - thank you for the coffee! Reception staff struggled with English.

The property is outstanding and good as very good. The washrooms are large and convenient. What’s interesting is that the shampoo is like mercury ( texture wise) and conditioner was dark blue / purple .. very intertwine and worked very well .. interesting Very opulent property. But one of the two elevators didn’t wait two days we were in the hotel making waiting tor elevator longer than normal

This is the 3rd time I use the hotel during an event. This time one of 2 elevators was out of service and seems it's been a while without repair(was told a piece was requested from Japan) so you can imagine having the hotel full with 1 elevator working! Rooms were clean and properly serviced. F&B was as always top especially when Abdo and Mary are there to take care of you. Check in and check out was seamless I always look forward to staying at the Bay La Sun!

The hotel lobby was as beautiful as always, but only one elevator was available for the entire hotel as the other one was out of service. We were allowed to use the service staff elevator. The suite was refurbished with parquet floors and modern furniture. The room was sprayed with a great mist.The bed was comfortable, although i must disclose that we brought our own pillows because the hotel had no memory foam ones. The AC was amazingly good. The view was breathtaking, but there was a huge stain on the window that blurred the view. I thought it was there due to the humidity, but when it stayed there for 3 days, i came to the conclusion that it is not. The bathroom was huge and had all the necessary amenities. However, there were permanent stains at the bottom of the sink and in the bathtub. Needless to say, it did not get my approval. The in room dining was absolutely delicious and the food arrived warm. They also offered us to bring the appetizers first, then the main course. The restaurant was also delicious, and the general atmosphere and service were excellent. The staff in all departments were simply courteous, kind, and helpful. As you can see, there were so many great aspects to our stay. However, for the price we were paying, those little inconvenients should not have been there, especially in the bathroom.

I chosed to visit KAEC and celebrate the National Day 92 in the city along with my whole family. I booked 4 rooms in hotel and was supposed to be included Breakfast & dinner as announced in instagram and confirmed while i booked through phone. However i discovered it wasnt include it. Eventhough front desk informed there will be. Also, my family and I were expecting some events to celebrate this occasion however there was no activities other than 10 mins in the lobby at 5 pm Unfortunatily, my experience in hotel and the poor KAEC was away below expectation and might be my last time to visit it.

The hotel allows you to go In the pool with a bikini, underwear, maybe even allow them In naked! Other than that, a very touristy place, a very fun and good budget place for families to have a good time, and this is a very good hotel I really recommend It, Just next time put In the pool rules "You have to wear a piece of clothing In the pool" and "Women have a specific place for swimming".

Room service supposed to work 24h / 24h seems is not working at 1.30 am. Since 10 minutes I'm calling them in vain. I call the receptionist who promised to call Tham and call me back. Same thing no room service tonight. I guess my opinion will be read by managers and I'm waiting for their reply.

The hotel was clean, and the staff were accommodating for all of our requests. Hotel amenities were great and rooms were spotless. The team was accommodating and very friendly. The hotel has multiple restaurants and food was okay but would to see better variety. Overall, if you are planning to visit KAEC I totally recommend the hotel as a stay option

The elevator was out of service and I was going up the stairs to the fourth floor 406 more than four and five times today!! Imagine paying 1800 riyals to go up the stairs, and when I asked to move the room to a lower floor, they said it is not available!! Despite telling them that I was with my mother and she was old, the poor woman was waiting for the elevator in a quarter of an hour when she got out. The day I complained and said the elevator was not working, they said use the service elevator. I said it would not stop. He laughed and said he would pull it on you. He took it jokingly and laughing. We took the bags ourselves. No one said we would help you. The carpets in the room had stains. The TV was not working. I called maintenance and they changed all the TV and the remote so that the bidet in the bathroom would work. The plumber did not work and they fixed it. The quality of the prayer rug is very poor. There is not enough information about the city, services and facilities!! They said you can go to the beach. I went. They said the money is 100 riyals per person and parking for the car is 30 riyals. If I had known, I would have brought money with me, but unfortunately they did not tell me. I came back again to get money and every time I go up the stairs because I have to wait more than a quarter of an hour to use the elevator, and the tragedy was complete after leaving when I did not receive it. The amount requested to be refunded from the date of April 24 until now has not been refunded and there has been no response from anyone!! Four emails to the reception department and no one responds to you!! Calls are not returned and even the accounts say we will contact you again, but no one is calling you!! A very, very, very bad experience. I contacted the Accounts Department with Mr. Rayan, one of my numbers, and I have been waiting for a response for 3 days now, and there is no response!! They say refunds should be listed for ages!! I am not at fault for this delay, and as a guest, whoever agrees to the amount required to be refunded!!
