This hotel might make a good stay in the summertime, but in the cold months of winter, it is very cold the floors being wood
and no carpets. Overhead lights turn on with a switch, so it was a surprise to later find myself sitting in the dark and having to waive my arms to turn the lights back on as lighting system was timed. I had selected this little hotel as they had an elevator, and I had had recent knee surgery only to get there and find out that the elevator was out of order.
I had booked for four days but found out on the evening of the first day that I wasn’t going to be able to stay the full four days the next morning at 10:30 I called the desk to tell them I would be leaving in 24 hours.. The gentleman said he couldn’t find my paperwork, but to come down the next morning and it would be handled.
In the morning, I went to the desk to check out and was told that I wouldn’t be able to get back the payment I had made for the extra two nights but I could get a credit to stay there again. I told the young woman I wouldn’t be back, so a credit was no good and that I wanted a refund put back on my credit card. She then informed me I would’ve had to call 48 hours in advance if I wanted to have canceled those last two days..ridiculous as I hadn’t even checked in yet 48 hours previously!! She said she couldn’t do anything about it and I would have to get my money back through ******* the booking company. As I had an appointment to keep that morning, I just left.
