New Hotel with Great Roof Top View, needs to improve. Room is nice, smells new, however bed sheet is completely new , itchy , it’s like just bought and not washed , direct to the bed or been there dusty for long time. Towel is dirty white, not convenient. Water is totally disappointed, Color yellow, un-filtered and smells. Need proper filtration. Massage, all is new, bed is sounding haha , no music , no aroma for 8k local currency, 1 hour, masseuse was good. Food some are great, some are tough. View is the best for this hotel, but they open only afternoon to 10.. if you are sunrise person , this hotel is not for you. Sun set was great. Staffs are friendly, however next visit should be more thoughtful on guiding guests, where is elevator, what are facilities and hotel can offer. Breakfast was fair, price is recommendable.

The hotel is in a convenient location, the staff is very friendly, and overall it's good. All the supporting facilities nearby are quite good, and the rooms are quite tidy and have everything they need.

The hotel is adjacent to Patanduba Square, and the vicinity is where the famous Nepalese Buddha statues are made. Many artisans have made exquisite Buddha statues in their homes by the alleys leading to the hotel. The hotel is very clean and tidy, especially very quiet, the furnishings are artistic, and most of the guests are European tourists. Through the window, you can see a small playground opposite, and the children are swinging on the swing happily. The hotel has a small elegant garden and a well-equipped dining room where you can make your own cup of Marsala tea or order an affordable meal. The most important thing is that the rooms here have screens, no mosquitoes come in, and you can sleep very securely. My daughter is ill, and I received a very considerate care here, from the boss to every service staff will ask with concern what help is needed! I like it very much, it has left me a good memory here!

I loved staying here! The room was fabulous and comfortable - it even had a rocking chair. It may have challenged taller guests but rooms with more headroom are available. The staff were exceptional - helpful, knowlegeable and friendly. They only offer a limited selection for breakfast and no other meals, but there are plenty of good options nearby. The location is perfect and don't be put off by the approach, the staff will help bring your luggage from the road and all is good when you get through the outer door to the coutyard. It really feels like an authentic taste of living in a traditional Nepalese home.

This is the best service hotel that I have stayed till now. Every one of the staff are so nice and kind, ready to offer help any time. Thank you so much for helping me in many ways. I am deeply impressed by your hospitality and delicious food and clean comfortable and bright airy room with good facilities and a beautiful window view of a garden and mountain in the distance. And I also enjoy the serene and artistic atmosphere and delicate decorations in the hotel. Thanks a lot again to all the staff. You make me feel like home.

Very accommodating Hotel. Very helpful staffs. Easy location for cafe restaurants and trekking shops. Clean room and bathrooms. Hot water was enough. Wifi works good. Plus they have verity of choice on buffet breakfast every morning 6.30 to 10 which is very good. They have extra service for arranging tour and trekking allover Nepal. Ask mr Shiva( A Human Shiva) he cares for everything and helps beyond the limits. Highly reccommended Hotel in Thamel.

Wonderful experience, great location and professional staff The Magnificent Hotel is an outstanding value for money. It is in great location, within walking distance of Asan Bazar, Durbar Square and the lively streets in the Thamel district. The hotel is on a safe street with restaurants, grocery store and even security agents. The hotel is clean and in good condition. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is comfortable, relaxing and breezing. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All communication for reservations or special request was perfect. However, what truly made the difference was the professional and caring staff. All were helpful, spoke multiple languages and proactive in providing help. One example is Kritika, who was absolutely exceptional, with a consistent positive attitude. She helped to explain the local riding sharing App inDrive. She helped me with the local cellphone provider Ncell. Help arranged laundry service and other useful information. Also Rajesh, the bar man was helpful to suggest local dishes. More importantly he was kind and interesting to discuss with. Finally, Ganga the manager was absolutely exceptional to ensure all was well organized and inspiring his staff. I had the occasion to speak with him many times and it was very enjoyable. We stayed in a Deluxe Family Suite room with two separate rooms, good air conditioning and shower and comfortable bed.
