Booked a weeks all inclusive holiday for my partner and I to celebrate our 50th birthdays at the Queens Bay Hotel, Pathos with Jet2. We flew from Newcastle which took around 4 3/4 hours. Private transfers with Jet2 had us from Pathos airport to the hotel in 30 minutes arriving at the hotel around 1030pm. Check in at Reception was quick and efficient by the welcoming staff. We were given room 447 which was on the second floor. Our accommodation for the week consisted on an air conditioned one bedroomed hotel room with ensuite (basin, toilet and shower over bath). Our room contained a build in wardrobe containing fridge and safe (no additional charge), a huge and very comfortable bed, a desk with large wall mounted mirror, a wall mounted TV and a small balcony that overlooked the front of the hotel and car park. The bed provided excellent sleep all week, the room was kept spotless by the cleaners and the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool (appreciated in the 35c heatwave)! Breakfast and lunch are provided in the main restaurant with seats inside and outside. Breakfasts consist of the usual fry ups, bacon, sausage, beans, eggs, scrambled eggs etc. Theres an omelette station. Fruits, cereals, breads, toast, yoghurt etc. Tea, coffee, water, milk and various breakfast juices. Lunch, there was always a small variety of choices which were tasty and hot. The evening meal was set in a seperate restaurant, again the choice of sitting inside and out. Each night, there is a different theme, - BBQ, Chinese etc. We always sat outside and timed it to coincide with the sun setting. The sun sets hear are beautiful! The swimming pool overlooks the coast line and has lots of sun loungers around it with parasols to shade you from the hot sun. We always found two sunloungers together with a parasol, no matter what time of the day. Great to know there was no 'sunbed' wars - no need to get up at daft o'clock to reserve them! If you don't want to lie around the pool, there's a grassed area on the next level down with lots of sunloungers and parasols too. Other facilities include a bar next to the swimming pool, breakfast/lunch seating area which serves alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks between 1030am and 530pm, an indoor swimming pool and an indoor gym (cross trainer, 2 x treadmills, dumbells upto 20kg and weight machines for various body parts. There is also a path that leads from the swimming pool area, down to the sea. In this area, there are sunloungers and a small bar (extra charges). Evening entertainment usually consisted of different singers which started during our evening meal and finished at 11pm. One of the days we got the bus to Coral Bay. It's a short walk (5 minutes to the main road). The bus stop is on the same side of the road. The 615 bus comes every 15 minutes or so. €2 each bus fair and we got off at Coral Bay beach at the bottom of the hill, where, after a short walk to the beech, there is a bar/shop/cafe that
