I went to Kitakyushu for a family trip and stayed at Rihga royal hotel Fukuoka, which is located near Kokura station, the center of Kitakyushu. First of all, the location is very good. It's close to Kokura station and there are shopping centers, downtown, shopping streets, and Kokura castle nearby. Since it's near Kokura station, it's easy to get to other areas nearby, such as Fukuoka and Moji port. The hotel is a large hotel with high floors that are very noticeable in the neighborhood and seems to be the best hotel near Kokura for banquet halls, buffets, etc. It has an overall older feel than the newer hotels these days, but in a good way, it's classic and the rooms are relatively larger than the newer hotels. Overall, the hotel is well maintained, so it is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is also doing a good job of maintaining the characteristic Japanese friendliness and attentiveness. The in-room amenities are also good. The hotel breakfast is also excellent for the price. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kitakyushu.

２ The floor is at the front desk and you can issue two room keys with the check-in machine. It's only 5 minutes away from Kitakyushu Kokura Station, so it's very close... However, it's so close to the train station that you can hear the sound of trains going very well from the accommodation. Not recommended for those who are sensitive when sleeping. The room size was bigger than I thought!

Because the check-out was possible by the machine, there was only one person at the front desk, and even if I tried to leave my luggage, it corresponded to other customers, and it took time and waited for a lot. I am glad to be able to temporarily leave my luggage before check-in or after out. However, when I went to take the luggage that I had temporarily kept after checking out in the evening, the customer was full at the front desk and waited for a while. I was frustrated because the time to leave the Shinkansen was approaching. It takes too long for one person. I want you to grasp the situation at the front desk at the office and respond to the empty employees. If this was not a full score, it was a pity. The language is polite.

Very nice place for a good price. Staff don’t speak English but the have this instant translation app that made everything easy and smooth. Room was comfy enough even though the AC was a bit too noisy.

I used Bessel Hotel Hotta Kitakyushu Airport for the first time. The room was very clean and easy to use, and the shower was comfortable with sufficient water pressure. Breakfast was also a buffet style, rich in variety, and local dishes, which was very delicious.

It is a convenient location for business and leisure in JR Shimonoseki ３ minutes walk. There is an ion near the station and it is convenient for shopping, and the hotel １ floor was able to spend a good time at a tavern.
