Nice location and facilities at the beachside Kiwenguwa.

All the staff were really very kind. Excellent cuisine for what I could taste, divine avocado!

I highly recommend it. A great place to relax, everyone is nice and welcoming. Very clean, neat. Beautiful ocean view. There is a wonderful swimming pool. 2 min to the ocean where there is a bar where you can order a cocktail with coconut………..

Thanks to Jennifer for decorating our bed with a special message every day. Selina and Christina served us with a smile every day. This beach is the best in the whole world. Il personale è gentile, disponibile e molto educato. La struttura nonostante fosse carina necessita di seri interventi di manutenzione: in una delle finestre della mia camera mancava un vetro nonostante fosse già stato riferito a chi di dovere, il condizionatore faceva rumore e perdeva acqua, problema che hanno riscontrato altri membri della mia famiglia in un’altra camera, le porte si aprivano e chiudevano male, nei lavandini non veniva l’acqua e le zanzariere del letto erano bucate; Inoltre abbiamo riscontrato problemi anche con i pasti al di fuori della colazione, il più delle volte la cucina non poteva fare piatti presenti nel menù mentre la colazione era poco fornita e per un caffè e una omelette bisognava pagare un costo aggiuntivo. Infine, per arrivare alla spiaggia bisognava scendere una ripida scalinata che attraversava un villaggio.

Siamo stati 3 notti allo Zan view, accolti dal “direttore” in modo molto gentile e professionale. È stato un ottimo soggiorno, l’hotel ha un perfetto rapporto qualità prezzo e la posizione è perfetta per fare molte delle escursioni. Le camere sono ampie e pulite, molto bello il giardino comune con la piscina. NOTA POSITIVA: si mangia benissimo al ristorante con prezzi economici. NOTA NEGATIVA: per raggiungere la spiaggia è necessario fare una vietta a piedi all’interno del paesino… è sicura ma un po’ scomoda.

Hotel molto carino. Siamo stati allo Zan View per quattro giorni. La stanza era carina e pulita, lo staff molto cordiale. L’hotel ha una piscina all’esterno, anche questa pulita, con qualche lettino e disponibilità di avere gli asciugamani per 2$. La colazione è prevalentemente composta da piatti locali, quindi si possono trovare succhi di frutta, frutta fresca, frittelle salate, crêpes e si ha la possibilità di ordinare delle uova. The locale e caffè locale nei bollitori. Il ristorante è buono, piatti molto speziati ma freschi. L’hotel ha anche l’accesso alla spiaggia, pochi lettini in quanto quando c’è l’alta marea, le onde bagnano raggiungono quasi tutta la spiaggia disponibile. Bar sulla spiaggia con lo stesso menu del bar del ristorante. Lati negativi: le scale per scendere dall’hotel verso la spiaggia sono un po’ tortuose, quindi potrebbe essere una difficoltà per bambini o anziani; il bagno della stanza, seppur pulito, era usurato, infatti ogni tanto c’era odore di muffa; i prezzi del ristorante sono un po’ più alti rispetto altri ristoranti locali.

A great hotel, small, quiet, peaceful and homely. It's in a very central location. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, respectful, kind and are always willing to cater for your every need. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to go there. It was an amazing experience and I'm sad that my trip has come to an end.

We got to the room but we had an emergency and had to fly back home right away. We were charged for all three nights, we were in the room for 5 minutes, they said that they would not charge us anything, but we were of the opinion that they were entitled for one night. When we were driving to the airport, I got a notification that they were charging me the entire amount. After an additional question, I got the answer that I had reserved the room and I had to pay for it. If they had told us right away, there would have been no problem at all. Not that they pretend to be understanding, but in reality they are only interested in money and nothing else. The room smelled of mold, the shower was so full of scale that the faucet probably wouldn't even turn on. The prices are desperately high, the pool looks quite big in the pictures, in reality it is max 4 meters long, which is for children. If I ever come to Zanzibar again, I will definitely avoid this hotel. Much cheaper and worse rated hotels in Asia are immeasurably cleaner and better than this one.
