Nice place.
We had a great stay at the Madrisa Lodge. It is a very convenient place to stay if you're playing to go to the Madrisa ski area.

Our family of 5 stayed here twice already. One winter we decided to spontaneously spend New Year’s Eve so we could hit the slopes early on Jan 1. The place has the usual high cleanliness standard for Switzerland and is definitely „no frills“ but all essentials are there and the best is the walking access to the Madrisa Ski area! If you don’t like driving or taking a bus in the morning this is great. Madrisa is the smaller more family oriented side of Klosters Davos and our kids love it. Coming back from skiing having a drink in town, going for a few groceries in Coop, feeling like the scene from the famous Aaron Slims photo that was taken there in the 60s.

Not Perfect, but VERY Good
This was a wonderful hotel.
First points, it is a 3 minute walk from the Klosters Dorf train station. There aren't many food places right there, but if you don't mind taking a bus, taking a cab, or walking 20-plus minutes, there are many things within range. If you are there for skiing, it is a 3 minute walk to the nearest gondola, and the skiing is wonderful. Oh, and the hotel has a ski room downstairs to store wet gear so that you don't have to fill your room with it.
As for the hotel itself... the people were all very nice, the food was very good, and you could tell it was taken care of. There are no elevators, though, so just know that if you have any mobility issues to request a lower-floor room (and if you can't do stairs at all, you may need to look elsewhere). The rooms themselves were very nice (hot water, comfortable beds, clean rooms).
One minor negative... you need to reserve dinner by 1630 at latest, or you won't be able to get in, so please know that.

Breakfast was fine, rooms were okay (not very luxurious), and you're right next to the railway line where the magnificent Rhaetian Railway runs. It was noisy, though, and there was a lot of squeaking from the tracks. The male staff was friendly... stay away from the (non-German-speaking) women. They were downright unfriendly.

Das Hotel Kurshaus ist eine sehr gute Übernachtung und Preiswert. Ist Zentral gelegen. Ca. 3 Min vom Bahnhof Klosters Dorf. Auch das Essen ist mega fein und wunderschön angerichtet. Die Gastgeberin Frau Steck, sowie das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch sehr zu schätzen und wertvoll ist die Davos Klosters Gästekart, wo die die Bergbahnen gratis zu benutzen sind. Und das bereits ab einer Übernachtung. Einfach toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder mal.
