[Location] The location is okay. At the far north of the west coast, get off the pier and get off at the first stop of the free shuttle bus. It is close to the sea and has a coastline of several hundred meters. The seat is located at the Zhaoyun Canal Wharf, but it is not actually at this wharf. In fact, it is near the seashore. You can see the beautiful sunset, but the sunrise is invisible. [Environment] The homestay environment is average. It feels that the shop started to make beds when it saw someone coming. The quilt cover and pillowcase didn't feel very clean. No shampoo or shampoo is provided, and there are only three small soaps. Provide roll paper. The kitchen can be used for cooking. The return ferry ticket and chartered tour are booked at the homestay next door. The brother and sister of the homestay next door are very enthusiastic. The English of the sister paper is good. There is a seafood restaurant next to it, which can solve lunch and dinner. Charters are a bit expensive for two thousand baht eight hours a day. Friendly reminders, everyone on the island brings delicious food and snacks. The consumption on the island is a bit expensive.

Pros: The cost is one of the lowest Location - 5 min walk to the beach, but uphill. There is a full breakfast for an inexpensive price in a cafe and natural(!) coffee Gorgeous view! Spacious family house for 4 people with a large veranda Air conditioning, fan, kettle, hairdryer all working. Minuses: No room cleaning. You have to go get extra water and toilet paper yourself. The beds and linen leave a lot to be desired, but are clean. The furniture is in poor condition in some places. In general, for the sake of cost and location, you can tolerate the disadvantages)

This was our second stay at Ao Pong Resort - and we enjoyed it as much as our first stay! This time we spend 9 days. Ao Pong Resort is a small and quiet place at the southeast part of the island with a private beach. The (Deluxe) bungalows are very nice. Not only the sleeping/living room is big, but also the bathroom area is spacious with separate bath and toilet rooms. The balcony is also very large with an awesome sea view. There is refrigerator, a fan, and air conditioner in the bungalows. The small private beach just outside the bungalows offers nice snorkeling opportunities. The Ao Pong Resort kitchen offers a delicious all day menu at reasonable prices. There is restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance. We rented a motor bike from the hosts which enabled us to get around the entire island very easily. The host couple are REALLY nice and will do their absolute best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Had a delicious meal here at sunset. Staff put the mosquito burners under the table to prevent mozzies munching your feet. Very high quality food with extensive menu and options for fussy kids! We had the pepper prawns and Thai corn salad. I’d recommend this place for the variety on the menu, cleanliness as well as the beautiful setting - especially at sunset. The beach here is soft powdery sand, a good drop off so good for paddling and swimming. The jetty can be deep enough to jump off the end (test the depth first!) and there is a freshwater shower on the beach.

The hotel is cheap. Everything you need is there. Air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, shower with heater. Everything is in working order. Of the minuses: The owners are good-natured, but not active. There are very few guests, but when we arrived, no one was really waiting for us either; The rooms in the photo look larger, but in reality they are very small; The bed linen is extremely worn; No toilet paper; The restaurant practically does not work, because there are very few tourists; Without a bike, there is no need to consider this housing option at all. It is not far from Ao Phrao, you can walk there. The owner provides good advice. The water pressure in the bathroom is very strong. I like it. The motorbike is very new.
